WHOA! This last chapter(8) was good. I like the introspection that you did for both characters. Working through their feelings instead of being instantly in love.
The lemon was great, it contrasts well with the last one. Read them back-to-back: from rough lust to sensual love. ^^
Also, yaaaay Zell-reference! Nice way to use it as a good diversion. In the previous chapter, yaaaay Seifer-reference! Ok, I'm done.

Mmyumm, Squall/Irvine! I do love this pairing, more than any other FF8 pairing, definitely. But you don't care about that, do you? Onto the review!
This fic started out a bit shaky, and I was a bit wary of it, but you have certainly flourished as a writer since the beginning chapter. The later chapters have more lush description, and you seem to gain confidence as you continue, so I'm expecting the next chapter to be pretty darn amazing! (not to put the pressure on you, lol)
^-^ Please, please don't stop with the Squall/Irvine yumminess. There definitely needs to be more in this world. (I am insatiable!)
Oh, and for the record, I rather enjoyed your Rinoa. Most yaoi writers tend to write her as either annoying or a bitch (or both), so to find a caring, more human Rinoa was refreshing.

We're like two sides of the same coin. I rarely like fics with pairings that isn't SeiferxZell, but I'm enjoying this one. (Neither of their names have been mentioned in this fic, besides that you despise Zell T-T...j/k^^)
You could go into more detail of what is the attraction that Squall and Irvine feel for each other that goes beyond lust. What is it about Irvine, personality-wise, that would confuse Squall emotionally? If Irvine knows that his feelings are more than infatuation, can he identify the cause? Or is it a simple chemistry that they have?

irvine and squall are my 2nd fave pair seifer and squall are number 1, but enough on that great story and squall begining confused is very nice touch to the story but in the end you should put him and irvine together anyway great story keep writing

I'm a sucker for romance, plus I love Squall and Irvine together. With the way their thinking is going, I don't think they could keep it just physical for very long anyway. *wants fluff and romance* lol
