I was a little iffy about the whole Squall/Ward, thing, but it was actually quite intriguing. I rather liked it, and the ending was very fitting and very conclusive.

A little odd, if somewhat sickening pairing. However, its never been done before so i'll give you that. Very good descriptive writing.
