The bits between Squall and Lisa, I love it. Its very touching, how Squall's so awkward, with just about anything. And I like the story about his earring! Sounds like somethning I'd do! =3
Dammit! I want Rinoa outta the picture so Lisa can get together with Squaaallll!! *whines* If you have it so Squall sends Lisa on the missle mission, I'll scream! >/

Hi Sorry I haven't reviewed your story lately, with tons of homework and everything like that. I REALLY enjoyed all the updates that you wrote out. Chapter 9 was really great too! Poor Lisa... The guilt that washed over her and then Seifer pops up making her feel worse, lol. You're really working hard on this story and I hope you get to finish it! So don't give up on this story, ok? *Hugs*

this is a really great story you've got going. it's hard to find a FFVIII story that doesn't have squall/seifer pairings or stuff like that. (at least for me it's been) I really hope that you finish this, because i'm really looking forward for the next chapters.

Oh my God! You have no idea how much I loved this chapter! It started off really well, and just got better as it continued. Seriously, this has got to be your best chapter yet! ^_____^
I loved the part with her trying her weapon out (whoo! finally! a weapon!) and dwelling on her home life. That's touching. There hadn't been any mention of it before hand, so as a reader, you almost forget Lisa isn't really part of the game. The way you did it, is a really nice way of reminding your reading audience! =3
The most touching bit, and possibly my favourite bit thus far was the remorse Lisa felt for killing the guard. It seemed to real, which is an amazing thing to have a reader feel, when describing something. It really reminded me of the bit in Final Fantasy VII where Aries dies. I think thats part of the reason its so effective. Its also true, because when someone dies, they won't do anything they used to.
And you really brought out the raw emotions, excellently!
...And the inward thoughts of Rinoa, that Lia knows, I'm adoring at the moment! They had that little bit of dark humor which makes this so damn cool! x)
I'm so looking forward to the next chapter!

I really enjoyed this chapter! I thought it was wonderful how you described Irvine, and the reaction of Lisa to him. I've never read him the way you descripted him, but I have to agree,
What is about cowboys with annoyingly long legs which sends most girls into a giggling heap? *chuckles* I'll never know. But I was happy you did my favourite character justice. (A lot of people just ignore him.) So... YAY!
Nice take on the fight too - I felt sorry for Lisa. Having to watch Seifer, man! Squall can be just a jerk making her do that But it was cute too, Lisa going after him. I really hope you do something else with Squall waking up in the car or something with her, cause that'd just be CUTE! <3

Now I don't usually review, generally cause I'm never sure what to say.
But I would really like to see this updated, and completed. I've been reading it sinc you published chapter one, and I've enjoyed it thus far. It'd be a waste of time if you just let this go to waste.
Its a good story. Honestly. Its a little cliche, but really, who doesn't like some cliche from time-to-time? And it would be nice to see a Squallxsome fic, which is hetro, and not him ending up with Rinoa - no matter how canon it is.
I'm not a yaoi fan, and most pairing stories, anywhere, not just on aff.net, are all yaoi! And finally finding a decent hetro one, well, its a little disheartening to see it being give up on.
I promise, I will review chapters, if you keep updating them.
