You know, it occurs to me on re reading this fic that the saddest part is the selling of hyperion. I think it's probably because Squall's so in love with his gunblade, he can't imagine ever giving it up.

Wow! I just found this story and have to say that it is GREAT! I love the realism of it, how afraid Squall is and how cold. You really got the characterization downpat! I'm impressed...more please!
