This has got to be one of THE greatest FF8 yaoi fanfics I have ever read in my life. You two are an absolute delight in both your little commentaries and in your incredible literary talents. I literally was brought to tears when Irvine confronted Zell about the betrayal! Absolute gold. I would ask that you guys didn't end this story anytime soon, but seeing as how it's already fifty-some chapters long, I am simply thankful you've kept it up for so long! Thanks, gals, you're truly the best!

Chapter the Fifty-Third: In Which Squall is Portrayed Wildly OOC.

Uh, yeah. So, I realise I shouldn't take this fic very seriously at all, and that really no one in here is acting very in-character, but the way you two portray Squall is just pointless. Him being GAY in this fic is pointless. Now, I'm not some gung-ho Squall fan, in fact the character fairly annoys me, but WOW, put a little warning in next time. Seriously, you could change the names, stick this in the Originals section, and no one would be the wiser that this was ever a FF8 fanfic.

Oh yeah, and about Irvine's speech patterns: I remember the 'like'; don't, however, remember him being a grammatically challenged moron.

oooooh i love it love it, love it. I hadnt read much FFVIII stuff before and decided to give it a go. Neways im glad i did cause i love this!!! Ok, well heres what i love bout it (besides hot guy on guy action). The depth of Seifers emotions, and his angst. It really makes him more human, not just a jerk, which lets be honest, he can be very often. N naughty Zell, leading Seifer on, and having Irvine. Taking the best of both worlds. N taking absolutely forever to work out what was wrong with Seifer, someones been a bit blind. But because you show us the conflict Zell is going through, I really cant get mad at him (though sometimes I do get mad at him on Seifers behalf, like when he leads him on, or at that halloween party but then it all went away once they got 'together'). Zell finally giving in to Seifer for his bday was brilliant too. N poor Irvine, I do feel bad for him. But I really want this to be a Zell/Seifer, so thats who im rootin for!!! Go Seifer!

Dang it!! Tisk tisk!! Bad Ma!! ^.^ Well I still cant wait to see how this is all resolved I hope Irvine sees that Seifers not trying to be an ass anymore (no matter how his nature demands it) I think im going to read the story all over again because so much has happend and it would be fun! But anywho I luv you guys to death and hope you a very merry christmas and lots and lots od coa- er present...yeah thats it...presents!!

Yay! Another chapter! Now, I have to be honest, I'm enjoying the story because I like you're writing, but I'm a crazy SquallxIrvine fan and yours is pretty much the only stuff I read that has Irvine with anyone else! (That's a compliment, by the way!) Anyway, I have to admit that, while he's not going about it in the best possible way, I wouldn't complain if Squall won Irvine in the end! Of course, I don't think I'll complain if he doesn't either! In this chapter, I think you did a particularly good job of illustrating Zell's conflict. As always, I'm looking forward to more!
