that was sweet and cute, and i love how you write reno. but after all the cuteness at the end all i could see was rude passed out at the kitchen table surrounded by 24 empty bottles. and then i was sad. XD

Beautiful. I mean, perfect characterizations, flowing language, great plot and pacing, hot, sweaty, but not ruined sex scene (so many things can make a sex scene not work, but none of that was found here), and an ending so Reno-like. "...center of my friggin' universe." Oh Reno. He is my favorite ff7 character, and thank you for this lovely fic. I never would have entertained RenoxRufus really, but your fic caught my eye and it did not disappoint. Gorgeous.

This fic, I have to say, is really quite good and deserves many reviews...I always wondered why the good stories never get them. (laughs)
I think you have a wonderful understanding of the human emotion, and you portrayed it in a very realistic manner. The story, while not terribly tragic, is still heartbreaking in the way that your Reno tells it. I also particularly like the relationship you have between Reno and Rude, and their indirect relation to Rufus; it's really quite believable and you've done an amazing job of describing their relationships using an artistically small amount of words. I don't know how you've done it, but you've done it well. And I'm certainly looking forward to the next chapter.
