Very nicely done. I'm a big Vincent fan, and I can't get enough of him. You portray him very well. The torture done to this poor man just makes you want to cry.
I just posted my first fanfic, and I hope it will turn out as well as yours. Keep up the great work, and keep the chapters coming.

Reno tongued his cheek. Okay, so the bitch had a point. “Touché.”
He leaned back to admire the view. “Had to kill the milk man so he wouldn’t tell the neighbors.”
Best. Fucking. Lines. Ever. I love how you've done Reno and Yuffie! Fucking hilarious!

architecture! lol! *dies laughing* that one was good! But seriously, i love your style and you throw in smut at all the right times, but i'm wondering if your getting out of focus, and if your meaning it. Vincent is hardly the protagonist anymore, and you haven't mentioned his chocolate addiction in a while. I see no conclution in sight (which maybe its a good thing...), but jesus you make me laugh, and thats what matters!

Blahblah I write better than I talk yet again.
I am loving the awkward tensions between Tifa and Vincent; his moment outside the room at the very beginning when he realizes that he would go back in if she asked him to is very nicely handled. And I simply love the other bit, where he heads back to his room and broods over his arm--the fact that he has to look at it, to "remind himself of what he was", and that Tifa was not a part of it, is marvelous. You are doing so very well with each and every one of these characters, but I am especially loving the way that Vincent is developing.
Additionally, the development of Reno as a character and the new twists to the relationship you're building between him and Vincent--as two Turks--is evolving so nicely it makes me squeak. Vincent's unsettled feeling throughout the inquisition that Reno gives him, and the conclusion that this is just how Turks ask questions--the stark contrast between the two of them, fast-talking Reno and, well, never-talking Vincent, works nicely all on it's own, but after Vincent explains his story, there's more than just contrast there that you set up for in earlier chapters--that sort of camraderie between the two of them. I really enjoy what you're doing with them, both as seperate characters and a pair.
Also, with Reno, I enjoyed the explanation of why he and Yuffie were together, but also the depth that you added to Reno; he likes Yuffie because she argues with him and she's a challenge, but also, he just likes her and he;s even embarrassed to admit it. I really found that both sweet and, well, just damn good of you to do--you didn't paint Reno out to be this terribly sex-crazed maniac incapable of any real feelings. You gave him depth; well done.
The Cloud and Tifa interaction was depressing but accurately portrayed. Cloud's inner thoughts here were quite powerful--his despair at feeling unwhole, his despair at being helpless were well-written. And of course I'm impressed with your skill of smooth transitions between the many characters that you write for--you went from Cloud to Tifa with the greatest of ease.
The detail of Tifa bathing Cloud--the curve of his throat, etc.--was really beautiful. I could completely see it in my head and I loved it. And when he leans against her, and she thinks he looks happy, and realizes that she wants him to be happy--oh, the sadness, and there's no sarcasm there. I teared up a little bit but I'm a woman when it comes to sentiment.
"He squeezed her hand. His free hand lifted to her face, his eyes still closed as if—were he to open them—she might not be there." That was just a beautiful line.
Actually I simply ADORED that whole scene between them. Their characters are fleshed out so nicely it's a bit uncanny. You did, again, a stupendeous job.
Your work with Zet and Cid was also nicely handled and quite realistic. As I've said before, dealing with Zet as an original character and yet managing to fit her into Make sure you tell me when you next update.
I could make a joke about how weird it is when you deal with Yuffie/Reno and the kinkiness, buuuut I'm sure you're uncomfortable enough as it is. Anyway I will be reading quite seriously as I have read this whole thing. I can't believe you're up to this many chapters.
Well done, well done, well done. More people better get their asses over here and read this. Cheers!

I've been following this story since about the third chapter. I adore it. Though the Reno/Yuffie scared me a bit, you made it work. All of them are kept in character. It's excellent.
I can't wait to see more!

this is a good story, scratch that, its a great story, i really like all the small details of vincents past,
but there is one thing that keeps coming back to me: why aren't there more reviews?
the answer pains me: most readers will only read stories with lots of sex and tiny amounts of plot.
Well keep up the good work and don't even think about doing any bad work
Someone that loves people that love their fans ^_^
