Okay, I'll start out by saying I absolutely adore this series. I usually tend to stay away from Vin/Cid, but you actually made it quite intriguing for me. Not to say I'm converted, well, this story isn't finished, now is it? ^___^
I actually started reading it for the Reno/Reeve, as they are two of my favorite characters and I absolutely love how you have them interact. Especially the bumps in their so called "perfect" relationship. I also am hoping to see some sort of firm resolution between Cid and Reeve later on; because I believe Reeve really was trying to do what he thought was best for Cid even though they turned out to be mistakes. These two are best friends, and to save their friendship, they're going to need to sit down and have a -long- talk after the war.
The only thing that is truly keeping me from enjoying your story in all its glory is how you are portraying Tifa's character. I'm actually glad you gave us some of her POV in this chapter, but it strikes me as so OOC that it is hard for me to take her seriously as the villain. You might as well give her a new name, as she basically is a new character with a canon character's name. You could use this to your advantage, though, playing into the whole Anima/Demon war. Tifa could have been open to gain an animus herself, but the week long coma she was in (after she and Cloud fell down the mountain) made her open to suggestions from some evil demon or another. And then the Sephiroth issue brought the dark seeds into fruition. Or Tifa did die when Sephiroth attacked her, but a demon had taken over and the body couldn't recognize the fact that the soul had moved on.
Here are a few ideas, because as you can tell, I've thought about this a lot. Anything to keep another favorite character from being bastardized so.
One last snippet to throw your way and then I'll leave you alone. Any thoughts about anima and animus being able to merge? Giving the product the best of human and demi-god, and maybe some new abilities to boot.
Great job with everything overall and I can't wait for more Reeve and Reno!

YAY!!! UPDATE!!!! I have to go back some chapters and read to make sure I remember everything though....bad memory sometimes.... anyway, YAY! Keep up the good work. I really don't review as much as I should. :P

Hi! Wow, it's been a long time since I've reviewed to anything you've written... vacations are kind of odd in taking up all of your time!
You're still doing as well as I remember you doing, though, and I'm glad on how you took the whole Sephiroth and Cloud issue. Some people try to write something like that, and then they screw it up in sooo many different possible ways. But you handled it well--especially with Cloud's anger.

Yay RenoxReeve are once more together and yay for smut!!! That was delicious! Now i hope Cid gets there before something happens to make Vincent need to rush in a save the day or something like that! Gah! Can't wait!!!!

I know i justed reviewed but suddenly you updated! Gosh i love that you update so fast!! OMG!!! CidxVincent!!!! *is in tears* THANK YOU YOU MADE MY DAY!!!!! More like night but omg!! They are back together at first i was so sad when Vincent backed away when Cid first arrived and was reaching for him but then omg i just can't say words! It was fantastic and hot!! Lovely! I am happy they are back together again! Yay!!

I love the part of Cloud and Aerith helping the injured. Sweet and gosh Aerith is so understandhing about Cloud and how he wants to fight. I love them!! Great chapters very exciting, iI love your story so much, the plot the whole description it is just fantastci. ^^ Keep it going.
