Woot! This chapter is like a mystery story...no wait no wait! Okay what is going on with Sephiroth? I meanthe whole is Jenova still in him? Loved hos his first real lust is Tseng bwa!ha!ha! ahem, i do enjoy that even though there are serious issues being discussed that it is all serious and well just in the stressful moment you add a tad of Humor like Zack just being a goofy guy.Which is awesome cause that gives it a sense of realism...well in my opinion. I have no clue whati want to say >_< I just love when you update cause your chapters bring awesome awesomeness everytime!! I mean they are unexpected events! It makes you just want to keep on reading over and over and just hoping you update fast! Anyways update soon! I cannot wait to read more!

Another good chapter, with excellent characterizations.
I really enjoy the way you write Sephiroth. He's delightfully human, with hopes, dreams, fears, and desires. His social awkwardness, raw terror at even the thought of Jenova, and painful shyness make him more likeable, even if we, the readers, and Zack, to some extent, are the only ones who see it. He's still the pseudo-god "The General", but he's like everyone else, even if no one sees it. Though the upcoming battle should be interesting, especially with the relationship dynamics that will undoubtably form, with the 'first lust' along for the ride.
I'm awaiting the next chapter, and off to look at your original fiction. Oh, and yes, I did recieve your email response to my review, much thanks.

I think I'm falling in love with your writing and your perception of the FF7 characters. Yesterday I read the Shattered Ice Redux and the original, then stayed up with Dreams until four in the morning (a good five hours after my usual bedtime, I'll have you know), then finished it after I got up. For a long, long time I've avoided reading any sort of fanfic, thinking it'd ruin my own views of how characters would behave; but, instead of ruining that, you've managed to simply offer alternate possibilities that somehow merge flawlessly with how they appear to me. I've got my own cherished pairings - Cid/Vincent being one of them, which is why I picked up your story - and you've managed to turn others on their heads. (Barrett and Elmyra? Rude and Shera? Definitely ones I'd never think of.)
My only regret is that I read too damn fast. It's not often I have to yell at myself at that - until I reach the end of a most marvelous but unfinished story.
So now you have a new adoring fan waiting with bated breath for an update. Which, you know, I'm really really hoping will be soon.

There was supposed to be a less-than-three at the end of that ^^^ so that the last comment wouldn't sound as rude as I think it does now, after re-reading it. That wasn't a demand, just a heartfelt plea, because, you know, you're just that awesome. (insert less-than-three here)
And, I forgot to mention. I've gotten into the habit of listening to the Advent Children soundtrack on repeat almost constantly - for some reason, just about everything else eventually makes my ears ache. Every once in a while, I'll actually pay attention to what score is playing during a scene I'm reading over, and some of them merge so perfectly, it's amazing.
I really should've taken notes.

Okay, after eight days, I managed to catch up. Let's just say I sympathize with Reeve on the job that gives you no time to yourself!
Where to start...
You blend the supernatural and the mundane beautifully; the existance of demigod/esses and the everyday hell of monsters and lover's quarrels seems real, as does the war they fight. (Though one can see your favorite series rearing their heads if they read between the lines)
The relationships are still startlingly real, and the children adorable. I can predict where certain things will happen, especially with Yuffie and Tseng. Will Godo spin clockwise or counter?
I guessed Reeve came from money--one doesn't simply gain manners and presence like that living on the streets (my apologies to Reno), but Cid, that was a shock. I look foreward to hearing your explanation to that.
Consider me another one of your avid readers, please. Take your time with the updates, it's better not to rush quality.

*Snerks* Gods...I'm still laughing. Marlene's suggestion of Sephy and Tseng going together was perfectly childlike and adorable. I choked on my sub when I saw that, and everyone's reaction. Priceless...

ahh, so the truth of cid's past comes out.. it was very interesting! And I liked how you used the nightmare to find out where balaam is :) Yay! good to see them all nice and happy again. Haha, I would like to see Cid as a weak and weepy uke- now that would be an interesting sight! Can't wait for the wedding, I bet it's going to be cute ^^
