This story is absolutely fantastic. You really must update with the next chapter. It makes me sad every time I check and it's not there. I hate Tifa, but I love this story. That's how good it is. Go!

Beautiful start! This is turning out to be a very well detailed, elegant story. I'm anticipating more installments; it's interesting to see someone taking Vincent's newfound (or newly developed) humanity into actual context. And I'm glad to see someone else picking up on how Cloud and Tifa did not end up together as most people assumed at the end of 7. You truly hit the nail on the head when you mentioned he was still chasing ghosts and not living in the present. Please continue!

I'm very much enjoying your story. It is a nice, unrushed-pace, that is creating a real feeling of plausible emotion between two characters who are not so simple to pair together as everyone would think. Vincent is deceptively complicated with his emotions, and Tifa giving up Cloud is never an easy thing to write well... Please continue to write, I look forward to reading more.
