@_@ this is a really kewl story.. overall, and the twist that i originally wasn't sure about is turning out to work.. yaaay~
i've read a LOT of SxS fandom (as it is a top 5 fav. for me), and it's ALWAYS refreshing to discover writers out there that manage to create a unique pov., either though plot, character development, AU, etc. It's weird, but.. I like that there's a lot of complications for our fav. boys (the Cale element almost broke me.. n'I totally didn't expect that end for him........ o_o ), that the whole 'reconciled relationship' thing isn't just cut and dry.
Hope I'm not repeatin' myself... just wanted to let ya know I love this story!

I can't wait to see how seifer and lore's relationship develops. I mean ever since the earliest chapters of when seifer first met lore when he was 5, nothing has been said about how lore feels about having only one father and then all of a sudden his biological father steps into his life again. I love that distance. But surely it's in the back of lore's mind right? I love this story so much, great job! BTW, the way you've written squall reminds me of Ada from the film, The Piano. It's a great movie, if you haven't seen it already, please watch it. I think you'll enjoy it!

YAY!....yummy kitchen play. As well as the quiet calm moment they had after...hot! Wonderful just wonderful!...i hope Lore comes not to hate Seifer anymore!

That 36th chapter was great. It was detinitely worth the way. The scene in front of the window was quite sweet.

Arrgh, I am in awe of your writing, in *awe* and I can't stop reading. All of it actually, your subtle attention to detail and the amazing way you keep the characters in character make me weep. Weep with joy and there's not just one story I can pick and say it's my favorite because they all are, and I find myself re-reading them or laughing at certain parts over and over again.
I bow down to your brilliance and making me see the light of Seifer/Squall. I rememebr cruising through the stories when I randomly saw a final fantasy ad and was like 'huh, wonder what this is about.' Stumbled upon FFVIII and clicked on a Seifer/Squall story of yours. I'm so glad I did, I can't get enough and I find myself using your skill level of writing and characterization as a basis of comparison for other stories. Only a few have matched up. ;P
Anyway, just thought I'd let you know what a wonderful job you're doing and give you praises since I've been a lurker of yours for ages and have recced you quite a few times for people to read in FFVIII communities, Seifer/Squall websites, etc. Ah, if only I could spread the joy.
P.S. I love your Squall. So strong and vulnerable at the same time but still the fierce fighter that some people seem to forget when pairing him with Seifer. If I ever step into the FFVIII fandom, my first story will be dedicated to you in your amazingness that fills me with fandom joy. *grovels and throws out cookies* ;)

Your an awesome writer...that was a wicked chapter. So seifer has actual feelings for squally poo...i hope squall comes to his senses. LOL....this is just a great story. Any update as to lore and seifers son dad relationship?...will seifer ever own up to being his dad and will lore accept it?....i could see this having a happy ending...yay hail seifer and squall...hot coupling. Anyhoo loved this chapter! Keep up the good work!

Yay, I don't have to sign in to review! I only set up an account to review this and other stories, but I don't remember the log-in information lmao!
Anyways, I love the story so far. Although I really hope there will be a chapter at some point with Lore thinking about his connection to Seifer (I love the parts where Lore and Seifer interact with each other because that gives "Defining Love" another little backstory for us readers to enjoy.) Plus, that makes the story even longer hehe. I love how you keep Squall and Seifer's personalities as they are in the game, but they have started to evolve and make the characters even more complicated, which is a really good thing in my opinion.
