That was great!! And I don't think it seems like they are moving further apart. On the contrary I think Sifers reaction afterwards are the first signs that he cares about Squall since this time he is trying to help without aiming for something in return as he must be well aware that Squall might never want to see him again.

Gah! Jeez, Seifer looks like more of a bastard every chapter! :P Then again Squall should have turned around and kicked his ass instead of thinking he 'deserved' it. Though, he does need a bit of punishing for agreeing to date Cale only to cheat on him and stay with him while he did it. Bad boy! XD

Oh man, if Irvine, Lore, or even Laguna finds out about this they will be PISSED. XD

even though the updates are few and far between (to me anyways) i get extremey excited when there is an update. of all the squall/seifer pairings i've read, yours is the best. Defining Love is definately one of my favorite stories, and your writing style is above par. i love the tension between squall and seifer, and even cale isn't too bad (even if he is needed as a third wheel). keep up the good work :)
