There are plenty of het FF fics on AFF.net if your willing to take three hours just to find ONE. Yes, to the dismay of some, myself included, the ratio of yaoi to het is astronomically in favor of yaoi. It's no big deal really, it just makes it an irritating challenge to find something I actually want to read, and sort of makes me wonder about the human race. It does get depressing after a while if you let it.
Now, my actual comments on this fic. NICE work. Like fallenangel7583~NSI said, I agree, it was clear that they had something deeper than a sibling relationship. Childhood friends becoming lovers, this fic was almost fluff. But you gave it some good angst with Vaan missing his brother. I think I'm becoming a fan of this pairing now :)
There really is no too short or too long, as long as its good. But this was good, and I was left hungry for more, in other words, too little of a good thing. I hope you consider writing a sequel or another chapter, anything, pul-leeze. lol

I really like this alot. Like Spirtwolf said it's good to see a Final Fantasy fic that is not yaoi. You did a really good job with this pairing. I hope you right some more

very cute. i always thought while playing the game that the two seemed to have a bit more of a connection then just friends. i know the game says a sibling like bond, but come on...i'm sure anyone with a good working set of ears and/or eyes can see otherwise. i like it, it's very cute, subtle and paves the path for further investigating. good job!!!

Wow that was good about time somebody wrote a story that doesn`t ruin the Final Fantasy game by making the ppl to be gay finally a Male and a Female pairing cool please keep up the good work and write more stories like that and not gay please
