There seems to be a deciding lack of constructive critism from other authors out there. I have been keeping up with this fic, given that SephxCloud is my favourite pairing. I actually started out with the CloudxElena one and enjoyed it.

I find that your characterization of Sephiroth is very good. He seems to envelop the evilness in all its direct and indirect subtlety, but he pushed very well too. I did enjoy his entire character concept as well, and how easily he seems to manipulate Cloud. Very Sephiroth~ish as I picture him in my mind.

Now Cloud (he is my favourite character, so I tend to scrutinize him more... sorry). I liked a lot of Cloud's character so far, especially how he maintains himself around Sephiroth. He is definant by not so screamingly so that someone wants to slap him. However, I do find that he swears a lot more than I would imagine (taking lessons from Barret?), mostly because in all parts of the game and AC, he never swears and it almost seems... uncharacteristic of him. I let that slide though, since he is rather well done other than that small point.

The storyline seems solid, even if it is meant for the purposes of getting those two in the sheets. It's not just a 'grab & screw' like most, but is a well-thought out concept that jives well with the characters. I also really like how you have Cloud remembering his friends and thinking about them in nightmares and such, not just pass them off as "Oh well, they are dead. Cloud would never think of them" It adds a good sense of character for him and adds to the overall plot and why they haven't just humped like mad little weasels.

All in all, I very much enjoy this fic. It keeps the attention and leaves for suspence on how the story will go. Good job, and I look forward to reading more of your work.

So maybe Sephiroth isn't as powerful as he thought, or was that just another "gift" to give Cloud false hope?

I love how you draw it out.... I'm such a sadist, XD I swear it's like, wrong how much I love seeing Cloud suffer at Sephiroth's hand.... But yes! It makes a lot more sense than your average PWP, and it flows very well, writing's excellent... *squees* it's great! I love it! I'll be sure to keep my eye on you. ^_^ And I hope you update this soon! I'm addicted to it... o.o
