O_O Dude... That's it? ... That was awesome. I loved the idea. And ideas you had floating at the top. xD But the plot you have developing is beautiful. I mean, usually I look and I find something... And when I read it, it isn't anything like what I expected and that's a bad thing. This was... Much better. And with not that many noticable errors. (I'm generally a grammar geek so that was supposed to be a compliment.) I mean.. Some of the stuff out there is just.... xD

But anyway. Now I'm babbling. And I should probably head off to sleep. But I had to tell you I really enjoyed what you posted. I think I'd be depressed if you stopped. :)

I really like the plot you have going on here. And the fact that it's Squall and Irvy ^^ Hope to see more soon

>_< Oh, Squall being a daddy! I love it so far. I love SqXIrv, almost as much as I like it when Irvy makes Squally his cute little uke, but I guess the taller one can't always be on the top so I like to read it the other way around too... okay I'm ramblin'. I was scared for a bit after seeing it was Irvy and Squall, thinking oh no it's a shota, but then you said you were jumping ahead and I was like psyched. Gah, I can't wait. Update soon please!

It's a very interesting beginning and your writing is refreshing among the sea of incoherent drabbles that wannabe writers post so frequently on this site. It doesn't say so in the summary, but this is an Alternate Universe, so there should probably be a little warning up. I like how you've done the characters, though there are some moments of OOCness, the storyline is interesting enough for me to look past that. Although I'm looking forward to the next chapter, knowing the pairing is a big part of staying with a storyline for me. Even if it’s a spoiler, you have to take into consideration that fanfiction readers are generally shipping on certain pairings. I become agitated when authors don’t even know the proper way of presenting the pairings in the summary, not realizing the difference between Seifer/Squall and Squall/Seifer. That stated, I guarantee that there are a lot of readers who won’t even bother reading your story without knowing the pairing. Reading your author’s note, it seems like you’re dead set against revealing the coupling, but I recommend you reconsider. Just like posting the proper warnings about this being Yaoi, and hopefully putting up an AU warning, it’s just as important to state the pairing. For some, reading a Squall/Irvine fic instead of a Irvine/Squall fic is the difference between reading Yaoi instead of Hetero.

Oh, one last thing… I see that I’m the first to review. If you’re not wondering why so few have reviewed, I can say that I was curious since this is a pretty decent piece, even for a first chapter. You have it set so that no anonymous reviews may be given. While this may be intentional, I thought I’d point it out in case it wasn’t. You’d be surprised at how many people won’t review if they have to log in. Anyway, for more feedback, just go to your profile and uncheck the option for logged in reviews only.

Good job, looking forward to more!
