Sometimes I read a little gem that makes me want to bounce and squee! "Cracked Surface" is one of them. After I read it, I went back to the beginning and I read it again. I really love this fic. I like how Vincent creatively offers Reno another option. My favorite line in this is the last: Reno slid down the wall and let the tears fall freely for the first time ever, wondering about what Vincent had offered and why he had done this.

You ended this with a bang, which I love. You gave powerful insight into Reno's character with that line, and made me want to see what happens next even more than I already did.

Amazing. It's really tough to write a good Reno/angst fic, and you've done beautifuly. I've read the sequel too, but I like the first one better.

i loved this pairing and i love this story. i like how you wrote reno and the emotions he depipicted. great job
