It's a father chapter! Though are Cloud's brothers going to show up eventually? They haven't been mentioned beyond coming along to visit, and maybe it's the KH fics I've been reading, but even if they are OC's I'm still curious.
Loved the evesdroppers btw! And Zack's psychic info lol. TMI, TMI! Let's hope he never mentions it in front of Seph! Though, why were the Turks congratulating themselves on getting them together? I don't think they had anything to do with it right?
You know, the way Vincent is thinking is really making me wonder about what would have happened if Lucretia had lived... If she still hadm't cared, would he have backed off too? I mean, he let 13-year-old Seph down because he didn't want to disappoint his mother?
And thinking she'd be proud of them like this?! Ok, they're cool now, but I'd rather hope she'd regret what Seph went through!
Seriously, can't blame Seph for hating her. And though Vincent is awesome in the way he protected Seph, he's an ass.
I'm glad he decided to get along with Cloud though! The way he reacted when he came across them by accident had me worried!

It was perfect! I was a little dissapointed that Cloud didn't get the attention he deserved from Vincent, but then I realized that it had to be that way. Vince will see later just how perfect Cloud is. I love this story, and I look forward to more.

I'll be honest, I didn't think I'd like this fic at first, it's not really my thing (to much swearing and stuff). But the more I read, the more I liked it. (I stayed up all threw the night, 'cause I couldn't pull myself away.)
And I am completely in love with this Sephiroth. I completely cracked up in chapter 16, at the bit about young!Seph and the body-bag prank. Sleepy, Drugged, & Dorky!Seph are my favorites; possibly - but not positively - in that order. And I am far, FAR to fond of his geeky glasses.
And the accents! *loves on them* (I just love how HUMAN everyone is in this.)
I am highly looking forward to more of this 'verse, and really hope there will be more soon.

I have completely fallen in love with "blonde ambition" It has 'swept me off my feet' so to speak.
I began reading it one afternoon. and LITERALLY could not stop reading... read all night and into the next day.
I have so completely been romanced by the entire world of ff7 as you have made it in this story. I love the characters and everything around them. It is by far one of the most emotionally complete, mature, and well rounded stories I beleive that I have read, ever!
I am 'pulling at the bit' so to speak awaiting very excitedly and anxiously for more to come! I am so charmed by your art on DA and will make sure and re-look through them and leave comments as well some time.
(I wish I could rant on and on about all the details that I truly TRULY loved so much about this story... but *blush* I'd go on and on forever I think... just please know that I am definately a HUGE new fan... and will probably re-read this through again as well)

I absolutely adore this story! I stumbled across it thanks to a comment by a fellow reader of another SephCloud fic on LiveJournal, who had linked to your DA account and one of your pictures from this story. I loved the picture so much I had to find the story that it was from, and gods almighty am I ever glad I did.
That was on Monday, the 22nd. I just finished the most recent chapter today, the 26th. This week has gone by incredibly fast, and it's all your fault, because I've spent FAR more time in front of my computer than I should have, absolutely rapt with this wonderful story you're telling, in this amazing hybrid-between-the-real-world-and-Gaia that you've created. My productivity this week has gone to shit, it's all your fault, and I couldn't be happier.
As a side note, my husband and I have been trying to get me pregnant for over a year now, and as you might imagine, after a year of "sex on demand" I've been having a hard time being interested in sex lately. This story however, has helped "fix" me. My husband doesn't know fully WHY I've been so pouncy lately because I'm too shy to tell him what I've been reading (he'd tease me for it, and though it'd be lovingly I just don't want to hear it at all) he has certainly been enjoying the aftereffects of my spending an hour or two reading this in the evenings! *^_^*
Please, please, please finish this story, and also Please, please, PLEASE write more in this universe, I love your Seph and Cloud so much! Actually, I just love the way you've written ALL these characters.

That one's an evil cliff-hanger... will there be an update soon? Otherwise I might die from anticipation.
I love your story, I read it over and over again, just because it gives a good feeling. And, I love your characters, especially Rufus, and all the Turks up until now.

This is /exactly/ why I stopped reading works-in-progress!! It's way too damn good and now I'm left stuck without the ability to know what happens next.
Despite thinking you've got Cloud a little too teen-angsty and Seph a little too... something... I do love your characterizations of them and I think that you stick to their characters (the ooc ones you've created) very well. The story is deliciously written and I really enjoy it. There are definitely, as you mentioned, a few things for a grammar nazi like me to point out, but on the whole, I tend to forgive errors in usage when the writing is high-quality, which this is. And again, even though you've broken so far from the canon storyline it's impressive, the story you've written is so decidedly well that I can't complain about that at all.
I await your next update with eagerness. Anything I might do to spur your writing, please let me know.
