Skuh-weeee~! XD I love it when you update SC! X3 I especially love it when it's got action. ... That, and/or smut. X3 In this case, it's action, and lots of it! X3 With a little bit of sympathetic "awww" time for Seph and Tseng, an added bonus.
You can probably tell where I'm going with this, but I'll say it anyway. Another great chapter, though it's nearly impossible to find a bad one when it's from you. X3 I await the next chapter with patience. ^w^

Sephiroth breaks my heart sometimes, he really does. ;___; Him and Tseng, though I can understand how being emotionally stunted from a young age can be a hamper to long-term relationships...
It just makes me wonder when (read as "if) there's going to be a happy ending. TT__TT

I found this series again and I'm soooo far behind, I can't leave a review yet. I'm definitely reading, though, and I do love what I've read so far. Thanks for continuing this. It is really wonderful. *dashes off to read read read*

I have to say it...I don't think I've ever read a series that has hooked me like this one has. I just spent countless days reading every single one of them. I cry, I laugh, I fall off of my chair...You have knocked KSipesh's 'Guilts Cost' and 'Jaras' Reclamation' out of my number one slot.

I'm really enjoying this story. I like the parallels you're drawing with AC events. Very interested to see how things unfold having Cloud out and Sephiroth in.
I do enjoy the mix of pairings you have here. Reno/Reeve is really sweet. Tseng/Sephiroth I especially like, and I love the gradual and rocky development between them. Sephiroth's fear and uncertainty, Tseng's feelings of helplessness yet still determined (socially shy, inexperienced Sephiroth is total win XD). I hope it works out for them! My sympathies for Aeris though... She's a fave of mine (actually a bit of a Zack/Aeris fan even ^.^)
and I feel so sad for her, losing Cloud like that and now raising their child alone. Can she still feel any connection with Cloud at all? Ah... :*(
And a bit contradictory with part of my initial comments, I realize - I admit, the revelation of Archer/Kadaj was a bit offputting , but after a few moments to absorb, it went down okay, heh. Yazoo/Reis, though, I find I'm not too crazy about. Maybe I had reached the OC-limit with Archer/Kadaj. But then, since it so happens that I favor Yazoo out of the three brothers, it's probably my anti-OC Syndrome rearing its ugly head. =P I shouldn't even be saying this and be that closeminded fanfic reader. But there it goes, me being honest, but an ass. -_-;
The last chapter read well to me, not terrible at all. But maybe I just enjoy the Tseng and Sephiroth bits so much. :) I really liked Marlene's POV at the camp as well, and that you explored how the children were treated by the brothers. That scene in AC with Marlene hanging onto Loz like that had always made me wonder. Nice job on the Loz/Tseng encounter earlier, too!

New reader here. :) Seeing your note at the start of the latest chapter, I thought it was funny because I actually hopped over here from Bleach, with a revived interest in FF7 due to Crisis Core.
I'll admit, the pairing label was what totally nabbed my attention. It's certainly not every day one finds a Tseng/Sephiroth fic! And I just looove it! Not only that, your writing is solid, with well developed plot and characters. I'm glad to hear you have no plans of abandoning this story. I'm really enjoying it and looking forward to its continuation!

Rushed? You call this rushed? O__o;; I call it bloody fantastic! XDDD The whole bit with Marlene, including the part with Kadaj's argument with Jenova as seen through Marlene's eyes. How her fear slowly turned to sadness on behalf of the Brothers. When Sephiroth found Tseng, when Jenova attacked him mentally while the Geostigma di so physically and when he met Cloud in the field. Even Vincent's ineptitude with technology. Every single syllable rings with true with emotion on one end of the scale or the other, showing you for what you are; a damn good, if not amazing, author. =3 I even loved how you simplified things when it switched to Marlene's POV. You, Draco-san, are just that good. *bows to your greatness*
Yeah, muses can be so fickle. I like to think I have at least one for every story I have/come up with. That means I've got at least three in a line in my head, bickering with each other and cutting in line. X3 To be honest, just knowing that you still think of Shattered Children is enough for me. =3 You can take as long as you want/need to between updates, as long as you don't forget. ^w^ (I say this because I love your Bleach fics just as much as the FF ones. ;3)

It's not a terrible chapter. It's packed with emotion. Sephiroth's pain and the pain of the SHM. A bit of light comedy with Vincent's battle with the damned phone. I feel for him. My phone is determined to win against me when I try to text or whatnot.
