I really like your take of the Cloud goes to the past story line so far. I have only one problem with it: The Fusion Swords consist of six blades, not four. First Tsurugi or First Sword refers only to the base sword. The Final Fantasy Wiki is great for quickly referencing this kind of thing if you don't have the movie handy or feel like playing through the game again.

i hope that seph isn't going to be a bad guy :D this is getting more and more interesting, i usually only read cloud/seph fics but this is great as well... there's so much tension between angeal and cloud (and some hidden tension between cloud and basically everything) something has to give soon.. i hope cloud does tell someone about what is going to happen but i would be loath if he was forced to do it, under different circumstances i would say it might be a good thing if cloud opened up to someone and told them the truth but i can't help but think that angeal might not be the best person...

i'm curious, is genesis going to be in this fic at all? his defection and degeneration has a lot to do with the whole plotline of ff7, are angeal and genesis still friends? we haven't seen them interacting together at all so i'm a little curious. (also, are you going to introduce vincent? he's one of my fave characters :P and does this fic focus on crisis core and ff7 only or does it also take into account the movie and dirge of cerberus?)

Poor Cloud. The Planet is not giving him a break is it...I mean, I understand why not, it is Existence itself at stake here...but Swords can break, Weapons can fail. I hope he isn't pushed past that point :-(

So, Zack, Angeal and Sephiroth are all having dreams of what has happened in Cloud's past. Wonder about Genesis...and you say Aeris is next up? Oo, I can hardly wait! :-)

This chapter is pretty damn intense. Ah....I hate that there's so much Cloud is hidding, but I can see where he's coming from at the same time. I was really hoping Sepiroth would make an apperance, but it's all good. STill a great chapter. can't wait for more

Angeal is such a straightforward person. I'm sure Zack will be able to whittle down Cloud's resistance to ever ending up in such a situation with those two again, but phew, this was one tense dinner.
