Ha, yes, I definitely saw the humour! Yazoo with a cushion in his face, calmly announcing she was dead and Vincent catching them like that. In a weird way it was almost like brother/sister behaviour. ...Ew. I shall not be thinking /that/ again!

And Yazoo getting ragingly jealous of Vincent's past lovers always brings a smile to my face! ^__^ Yes, they need more alone time, I think... Yazoo embracing Vincent from behind makes me want more of that sweet hugginess.

(BTW, if anyone can make me like pre-wacko Sephy, I bet it'd be you. Just don't take it as a challenge because you got enough to do right now, girly!)

Oh, they might be getting a new maid, huh? lol Yazoo wanted to kill her just because she outwitted him - a vampire who should in no way ever let a human get the better of him. Hehe. That was funny. And so was that whole conversation between him and Vincent about what to do with her. I like how Yaz was calling her 'it', showing his total lack of empathy for humans. It's always such a pleasant surprise when you bring new characters in and seeing how they affect our fav vampy couple. Just when they think everything has settled down and bam! Along comes an annoying pickpocket who won't shut up. ^__^

I don't really know Yuffie's character so I can't say if she's OOC or not but from what I saw in AC she seems pretty well on target! Bouncy and hyper and talkative. And you do a marvellous job with Vincent - he's utterly perfect. I don't think there's been one bit in this story where I've said, "Huh, that's not like him." Yazoo may act slightly different than in AC but this is an alternate world so of course his character is not going to be the same. But now that he's a vampire he's showing more typical Yazoo traits - the coolness, calmness and aloofness that distinguishes him (we'll just ignore how OOC and 'retarded' you say he was in ACC). But he's probably better in this than in AC because in this he gets more screen time lol. And he shows more emotion, if only with Vincent. I love what you've done with Yazoo's character, how complex you've made him, so don't worry. He's completely believable and we all adore him. I understand your worry about getting Yazoo's character right. He's probably the hardest one of them all to define, I think. But you are doing a wonderful job with him. Sephiroth is..well, Sephiroth. Hate to admit it but you do get his character amazingly well also. Everytime you write about him I feel uneasy which means you got him down perfectly. Overall, you have nothing to be concerned about with this fic. If I thought you made someone really OOC, I'd tell you!

I agree with Yazoo, for some reason I never liked Yuffie. Sorry not to review lately, mind else where. But I loved the Sephiroth chapters, they fit so well with his character, so no I haven't seen much OCCiness... My life is getting better after a bad low, I hope to write more of Smile this week, I'm sure you'll like the pairing. Keep up the good work too. ;)

In my opinion, everyone's story has their own style and the characters need to be made to fit the story; which you have done quite well. :3 Keep up the wonderful work, I'll continue to read. As always I will be highly anticipating your next update. ♥

Sephiroth is totally evil but I can understand him wanting to steal Yazoo away (who wouldn't want such a beautiful, mysterious creature?) however, I am so glad Yazoo didn't give in! Yay, Yazoo!

It's great to see his and Vincent's relationship deepening, even if Vincent still hides some secrets from him. I'm happy that they have reached a kind of agreement between them. And it's cute how jealous Yaz gets. ^__^ Reminds you he's still a boy, under the fangs.

What is this transformation? I'm intrigued to see what occurs when it finally happens to Yazoo. (Here you are reinventing the vampire myth again!)

But somehow I think we have not seen the last of Sephy. He doesn't go away that easily...

And the drama continues! Nice work. :)
