Wow, what an interesting setting to pick! I liked how it can fit right in with the storyline too, considering Seifer does kind of just fade off into the distance while Squall fights Ultimecia. It reminds me an awful lot of Harry Potter, but with a darker overtone to it. I'd consider this pretty fluffy, but it's good fluff without too much sugar =) Having read Public Display as well, it's kind of funny to see your different interpretations of Seifer, ranging from demanding and cynical to caring and protective. Anyway, getting to the point, I liked it.
