I really enjoyed your take on the whole Cloud-Sephiroth meet during cadet training plotbunny. It helps that Cloud isn't hero-worshipping the man. Makes for an interesting dynamic that fics don't do often. Very nice.
In the first chapter you promised me Zack wasn't alive in your A/N, but he's totally alive. I like him better alive anyway. So I'm glad you lied.
And since your asking for suggestions on how to make Seph interact with Cloud: I have to suggest that Cloud will get a little mucked up by Dipshit Don, the gallant Sephiroth will swoop in to save the day, and escort him to the med bay. That way he gets to be both badass enough and caring enough to totally give Cloud a boner. I do hope it's terribly awkward. Further interaction can be gotten from inspections, exams, etc. Or a SOLDIER (of some rank or some other military official) could start playing grab-ass with Cloud and Seph gets all protective and authority figure.
