You know Squall isn't that different to Vincent in a way. Squall knows what it's like to be betrayed by someone you trust (Seifer) and tortured. Sure he wasn't tortured as long as Vincent or was as CLOSE to him as Vincent was, but he was tortured for information. Think about it, Squall hardly lets others into his heart, his mind and even though he and Seifer fought and bickered, they were comrades, kind-of friends and in a weird way Squall respected him.

Then Seifer is brainwashed by the Sorceress and after the group is captured he personally tortures the other.

It could also explain some of Squall's personality and attitude. I think, if someone tells Squall what happened (maybe Vincent himself while they are outside talking) then he will find himself not just sympathizing with Vincent but relating with him. Maybe he could tell Vincent about his own (I don't think Squall would tell anyone else about his experience, too humiliating and emotional, besides, Squall doesn't really talk that much as it is) and that way both Squall and Vincent will have an secret to share, a secret shared emotion to bond them.

Now I can't wait for Cloud or Squally to either fuck or fight or both! Write faster I impatient. G

I love this story! It's so creative and original that I got hooked almost immediately! I can't wait to read more! :)
