There is a lack in canon-based Cleris stories like this so it makes for a nice change of pace.
Your story is incredibly thoughtfuland well-written. You managed to avoid the cliche metaphors common at one extreme in these kinds of fics without drowning your reader in what I can only describe as 'bad porn language' at the other extreme.
Aeris felt very natural and in-character too, at least in her behaviour and responses. I will admit to the regular descriptions of Cloud seeing Aeris as pure and unobtainable the story started feeling trite until the end; when suddenly Cloud started talking like Jack from Fight Club.
It was an interesting twist ending regarding Cloud's characterization. Within the story, it made perfect sense... within the game, I'd argue against Cloud having that level on self-awareness, but such ambiguousness is what makes Cloud the perfect mask for the player.
Overall, good smut.
