-------------------------------------------

The girl lay the motionlessly in a pool of her own blood her crimson eyes that once held life were now a dull red and beautiful silky firey red hair was drenched in a liquid darker then itself. She honestly couldn't seem to remember who she was fighting and why, all she was aware of right now was her inability to move even an inch. She was getting weaker by the minute as her blood continued to pool around her, making her creamy chocolate colored skin look a tad bit liter then it was.

Ever though she fought it with all her might, her eyes shut just before a thought hit her and this brought her back to reality for a moment. Where was her family, her Obaa-san, her ojii-san, her Nee-san and Nii-san? Where had they gone, she tried again to
move and managed to place a bloody hand beside her... There
was no way she would lay here and die when she could be saving her family.

When she'd finally stood on wobbly legs, she begain limping in search of her family, using the walls for support. Her entire body
felt so very heavy and she wanted nothing more then to comply
with it but she couldn't just yet... After what felt like an eternity
of failed searching and a extremely long trail of blood, her
legs gave out on her. Sending her toppling over, she tried to
brace for impact but her arms were to weak and buckled from
her weight. She felt her head connect with the cement and with it
came instant darkness.

"What happened to her? Will she make it?" Though she was still unconscious, she could hear the people around her talking and the current speaker sounded female.

"Not sure, Vincent was the one who found her and said, she'd lost far too much blood to tell right now." A males' voice replied with a hint of hope laced with uncertainty.

The girl tried with all her might to wake up but couldn't, maybe she'd lost more blood then she originally thought. She felt her body slipping back into a state of unawareness as she fall into a dream filled sleep.

In her dream

She was back in Kalm, her home town and it was perfectly ok or that's how it seemed for now. She walk around in search of her family and when nothing had turned up, she went home figuring
that should have been the frist place to check.

Once there she went inside, where she was attack by her Obaa-sans' arms in a tight embrace and she happily returned the hug. Her Obaa-san pulled out of the hug, looking at the girl with a smile, "We were so worried for you my child." Obaa-san told her with a gentle squeeze at the girls' shoulder.

"What do you mean worried for me?" The girl asked, with confusion in both her face and voice, "Have I not been here?" She concluded.

The old woman just hugged her and smiled, "Don't worry about it dear, all that matters is that, you're home safe and sound now.." Obaa-san said with far to much happiness but before the girl could speak, her Obaa-san spoke again, "Your bother and sister are in the living area, they've been waiting for you." the girl nodded and headed for the living room, she'd leave that question for later.

She entered the living room, slowly turning towards her two older siblings who looked up at her eyes widened, "Hey.... Sakurai-chan, Airi-chan...." she spoke allowing a smile to grace her smooth chocolate skin.

Sakurai and Airi looked at one another with a nodded, Airi was the first of the two to stand. She had always thought Airi to be more beautiful then herself, Airis' green-ish hazel brown eyes held so much beauty and wisdom, her long black silky hair seemed to add to that. There was however one thing that she loved most about her Nee-san and that was her smile, Airi had a smile that could warm even the coldest of hearts.

That's when she'd noticed Airi had said something, "What
was that, Airi-chan?" the girl asked.

Airi laughed at her younger siblings' actions, "You're still the same, daydreaming when others talk to you. What I said was, lets go up to your room." Airi said, taking her sisters hand dragging her up the spiral staircase. (I'm still the same?... What could have
happened to make her say such a thing?)

She looked back at Sakurai whom was right on their trail, he was the only one of the two eldest who looked different. His shoulder length black hair was now a short brown but his eyes however remained the same a solid dark brown. She could also see that something was indeed bothering him, "Is there something wrong Nii-san?" she asked as they entered her room.

Sakurai gave her a look that said 'he wasn't going to tell her.', "Don't worry it's nothing and besides, there is something far more important we have to disscus." he told her.

Airi motioned for the girl to sit on the bed once they'd entered the room, "Sakurai and I think there's something you should know.... and it has to do with this village." Airi said in a calm manner, not wanting to upset or scare their sister.

Once the girl was seated, Airi continued, "It would seem that the Heavens have decided to passed their judgement upon this village but we are not sure why yet. Sakurai and I have decided to get you out of here before that happens." Airi didn't have a chance to finish, due to her sisters panic.

"Are you saying they are going to destory the village, Airi? Why is this happening?...." the redhead was nearly in tears, she had thought everything would be fine now that she was back.... she was wrong, this... this was so unfair.

Airi leaned over to her sister, pulling the young child into a warm loving embrace, "I'm not sure why either but I over heard
ojii-san and Obaa-san saying, that this village sinned for so long and that they weren't surprised at all but you don't have to worry about it because me and Sakurai will save the town." she informed her, in a gentle hushed tone.

Crimson eyes met brown, "Why can't I stay and help? We'll be a lot more powerful if we stand togeth.." It was Sakurais' turn to stop the girls ranting, "You can not... this has nothing to do with you." He told, straight forward.

"But Nii-san!..." The girl began.

"No!" He shouted and went to kneel infront of her, he couldn't forgive himself if anything were to happen to his baby sister, "You have to leave... If anything was to happen to you, I'd..." a hand on his shoulder stopped, he looked at Airi who was shaking her head.

"We have four days, til they come and destroy this place so why don't we just forget about that for now." Airi smiled warmly at the red head, trying to put an ease to the situation, "You should go and talk with your frineds, I'm sure they miss you greatly." the raven haired girl said with yet again another warm smile. (Where
had I been before now?) She wondered.

The red head nodded and stood, why did they always treat her like she was a child. She walked down the spiral staircase and out the front door, she would be 19 in two days and she was quite capable of taking care of herself. She was too caught up in what her Nii-san and Nee-san were telling her, that she failed to realise the change in secnery. A scream sounded off, catching her attention and that's when she noticed the flames that engulf the entire village.

She looked back at her home, praying and hoping it was ok but that too was in flames, "No... not again." she heard another scream, this time it was a pain filled voice and she decided to stop whoever was killing everyone.

She ran towards the middle of the town, where she witnessed a man strike the woman across her face, sending her to the cold ground, "STOP!!" the girl shouted as she ran to assist the woman in danger
but came to a halt when she saw that it was her own self that she was running to help.

There was a chuckle from the man who assulted the other her, "Run!!" she screamed at herself but learned that neither of them could hear or see her... This was... a dream? She watched as the man who seemed to be dressed in all white, raised his hand and a light of judgement fell upon her. Once the light cleared, she stared in horror as her other self lay motionless and that's when it all clicked.

This was where she had been lying down, in a pool of her own blood but that would mean she wasn't dead. A males voice pulled her from her thoughts, she was in as he turn and even though she still couldn't see him. She did notice that he had bright green eyes and blond hair to commidate that white suit he was waring. When he vanished she made sure to try and remember every detail she saw, before running over to her half dead self.

She bent down to inspected the bodily injuries on the girl but there was way too much blood to tell how bad or where the wounds were, her thoughts started running away with her at that moment. She should have died, considering the amount of blood she lost and what happend to Airi and Sakurai. They said they would protect the village but she's the only one there, about to die. A sound of metal clanking against the ground, crushed her thoughts and she stood quickly but before she could turn to see who it was, everything went black.

Dream ended

-Where were you before that, that had them so worried?-

Her crimson orbs fluttered open, she felt so warm in the nice soft bed and under the thick comfortable quilt.. Wait, a bed and quilt? She sat up quickly, taking in her surroundings. The room was fairly big, there were two brown dresser draws, one to the left, one to the right and two honey brown doors, if she had to guess one had to be the closet and the other was the way out of the room. Still that didn't help any, she hadn't a clue where she was.

She didn't have to look out the window to tell it was dark outside, she was always at her best when the dark hour rolled around but first. She pulled back the covers to reveal nice shaply chacolate legs and a pretty silver night gown that stopped just below her knees. She stepped out of the bed and the first thing she noticed was how weak she was but shook it off as she crept to the window slowly. She saw that the curtains were open, bathing the room in the beauitful moon light.

She looked through the window to see if there were any garud like type people walking around but only saw a man with one golden claw and a pair of golden boots. She also noticed that he had on a red cape, was he some sort of Super Hero, "No, those don't exist." she mumbled to herself and walked away from the window, just as the 'Super Hero' looked up.

She walked over to the door on her right and found that it was indeed a closet, she closed the door. She walked to the other door and before she could open it her stomach growled, she placed her hand over it, "That's gonna have to wait til I'm safely out of here." she said, talking to her stomach oddly enough.

A loud thud sounded off, followed by a couple of moans and groans from what she thought were two different males but that could be her imagnation playing games with her.

She wobbled out into the hallway, absorbing the current area she was in and was starting to wonder if these people were a real threat to her at all. Including what was probably a restroom, there had to be five doors in all and an attic at the far end of the hallway. However if they were a threat and she passed if off like
she was about to no, she wasn't so sure she could take them on in her weakend state.

"Cloud!" A males voice shouted, though it didn't sound like a moan but like the other was calling the name.

"Ssshhh! they will hear us."

"Did you lock the door?"

"Yeah.... I think so."

She walked over to the door were the sound originated and peeked in since it was already cracked. She blushed almost instantly at the sight before her and the sounds didn't help what she thought she saw, yet hoped she didn't see. Since their curtain was peeled back just a bit, she could see they were joined in intimatecy and that the one on top had blond hair and the other had silver hair.

Starting to feel weak again, she decided it was time for her to leave, while she was still conscion and able to run. She stepped back, causing the floor to cry out under her weight and mentally cursed for not being more careful in her actions.

Not wasting another second, the red head turned on her heels to run however, she ran into what she thought was a wall with a crimson red velvet cape and... and... She felt something cool and quickly looked down, only to find a golden claw? Seeing this, she snapped her head up as crimson met crimson.. "The super hero?... What's he doing here?" the man holding her up lofted one of his very thin black eye brows..

But she couldn't dwell on that, things were starting to get dark fast. She had to get away, she pushed at him trying to break free but couldn't get away. If she wouldn't have been so nosie and just headed for the stairs, she might be well on her way to freedom. Instead of being in some guys' arms, falling unconscion again but then again she didn't feel like there was any real danger. However her thoughts were cut short, when everything faded to black and she slipped into a dreamless sleep.

It was 8 am and the warm rays of the sun once again shined down on the very busy streets of Edge City, as people made they're way to work. However Cloud, who had a few deliveries to make still hadn't left yet and was sure he never would. Vincent had been explaining a few things about where he had found her, how there was nothing left of the village but ashes and that it had to have been done by someone quite powerful, "Perhaps Sephiroth has returned for a round four." Vincent conluded.

Had Cloud not been sneaking around with one of Sephs' clones last night, he might not have choked on his drink Tifa gave him a little while ago. He knew very well the other was now studing him closely, due to his odd reaction and cleared his throat quickly, "I hope not, that's the last thing a I want at the moment." Cloud lied. The truth was they were all back, he wasn't quite sure how or why but they came to an agreement. They won't cause any trouble and he'd let them live happy normal lives but then he knew Sephiroth, that man would eventually need to be killed sooner or later. Then there is also the question of why they just so suddenly gave up on Jenova out of the blue.....

A hand on Clouds' should snapped him from his thoughts, he look at Vincent, "Cloud, is something wrong?" Vincent ask in his normal monotone voice, though he knew how Cloud would answer that question.

Cloud nodded slowly, "Yes." Cloud said with his most believeable tone. This caused Vincent to tense up at the possiblity that Sephiroth in fact may be back for a fourth.

"I'm still here with you guys and not out delivering my packages.... That's what's wrong." Cloud confessed seriously and ignored the death glare Vincent was giving

"Cloud... I do not find this amusing." Vincent said sourly and slightly upset that Cloud would so much as joke about Sephiroths' return.

Cloud sighed, "Who's joking?" Cloud asked in a sarcastic tone.

"Wait Cloud just one more thing." Cloud looked at Tifa.

Up stairs Marlene and Denzel kept watch over the sleeping redhead, they had been told to come and get either one of them when the girl awoke. Marlene however, was becoming bored with this job, "Denzel lets go play, I'm tired of this." the child voiced.

"We can't Marlene, Uncle Vincent asked us to watch her until he was done talking with Cloud." Denzel reminded her.

She nodded, not really wanting to do it, "Then lets have a staring contest." she stated rather then asked.

Once he nodded, they play their little game for what seemed like hours and Denzel was getting really tired of Marlene winning, when he'd only won 4 times.

On cue, the redhead stired slightly before sitting up in the bed and looked right at the two. Marlene stood and leave to get Vincent or Cloud, while Denzel stay right where he was and just looked at her. (Maybe I should say something.) the kid thought, "... Hi, I'm Denzel." he said, with a sort of unsureness mixed in.

She looked at him for a moment before speaking, "I'm Retsuka. You wouldn't happen to know where I am?" she was now looking out the window, think about whether she should escape through it or not.

"You're in Tifas' bar... Vincent brought you here after finding you." Denzel explained to her, before she went to the restroom with a few clothes in her hands and returned fully dressed. It was nothing amazing, she was wearing black spigetti strap shirt that fit her shape perfectly, a pair of black pants that weren't too
tight but not to loose and black knee high boots, "Are you
l-leaving?" Denzel asked.

She nodded, "I have things I need to find out." she told him, as she ripped the curtain that until now she hadn't notice was the same color as her eyes down. She looked at the door, they were almost here, "Give them my thanks." She opened the window right when the room door opened and jumped out, she knew her legs weren't going to hold out if she just landed. So she used the curtain as a parashoot to soften the strain of the landing and looked only to find that the 'Super Hero' was watching her.

She ran around the building with the red curtain in hand, deciding that she could use it for something later and looked around for ameans of escape. Lets see what could she use, that's when she seen Clouds' motorcycle and ran over to it. Quickly looking it over, Retsuka wasted no time hotwiring it and was speeding of down the road before Cloud, Vincent or anyone else could get to her.

Cloud stood there stupefied, he could have sworn he fixed his beloved Fenrir so things like this could never happen, "Cloud." Vincent called out.

Cloud turned to see the two kid, Tifa and Vincent standing there, "I'll get her this time, it's low on gas anyway... I'd give her about 2 or 3 blocks before it stops." Cloud said walking away and the others went inside.
