The day was only half over, but the courts were, for once, empty, and Rosa was spending time with her mother in town, which meant that it was only Cecil and Kain in the large, empty room. This was as good of a time to bring up his thoughts as any other, and so the paladin linked his hands lightly over his stomach and rested back against the throne, trying to look as nonchalant as possible. “I want to be on top this time.” Cecil was expecting another fight about it, because Kain was unnecessarily standoffish about what role he had during coupling. The paladin knew that his primary guard would like it if he gave it a chance, but the man refused to even listen. A few moments of silence passed, and the paladin discretely turned his head just enough to catch sight of the dragoon standing at the side of the throne. “...Alright.” Startled, the younger knight jerked upright in his seat and fumbled as the crown took a tumble from his head, not bothering to replace it as he twisted to look at the other man face to face. An amused smirk quirked the blonde's lips as Cecil floundered for a moment, his mouth opening and closing a few times without any sounds emerging. Clearing his throat with some embarrassment, the paladin attempted to speak again and was met with more success this time. “R-really?” With a short bark of laughter, the dragoon shook his head but responded in the affirmative. “Really.” Perhaps he was a bit overexcited, but the smaller man was thrilled that he wasn't going to be having another argument about it. Surely Kain would enjoy it! This was amazingly good fortune. “T-tonight, then.” The dragoon shifted, his shoulders shrugging a bit with the motion. “Might not be in the mood then.” For a second, Cecil wanted to strangle the man for making this into yet another fight, but it suddenly struck the paladin that he had time now. Kain wasn't squirming his way out of this one. “Then right now!” Standing and tossing his crown onto the throne with a flick of his wrist, the young king grabbed his primary guard by the hand and prepared to forcefully drag him to the royal bedchamber if necessary. To his surprise, the dragoon didn't resist. Which was possibly more exciting than the initial consent. Cecil hurried, smiling brilliantly as he reached the room before turning and promptly finding his lips captured by the taller knight's. That was fine; whatever made Kain comfortable for now. They stripped quickly, hands running over every sliver of flesh exposed as armor and cloth were carelessly left strewn over the floor as they slowly made their way toward and eventually onto the bed. Panting, Cecil moaned around the larger knight's tongue in his mouth as he fumbled with the oil and his loins twitched in wait. Kain took the oil flask from his hands without even breaking lip contact, and Cecil moved to protest – he'd agreed, damn it, and men of honor did not go back on their word. Then slick hands groped all over his loins, one hand eventually giving added attention to his sword and nearly causing the paladin to swoon. Kain was terribly good at this, but Cecil knew he needed to prepare the other man and blindly groped around the bed for the flask of oil. Kain was going to enjoy this. All of the sudden, the tongue withdrew from his mouth and everything shifted, and Cecil groaned in startled pleasure before he realized what had happened. Kain was on his back on the bed, his hands secure at Cecil's hips as the smaller man found himself perched neatly on his lover's groin, and the paladin knew full well that he'd become the sheathe to Kain's sword before he'd had a chance to protest. “K-Kain!” With a soft groan, the blonde still managed to grin up at the younger knight as he replied. “Mmh..?” Stuttering, the paladin fought to tug the hands from his hips, to allow himself to get up and do what he'd intended to do. “L-let go! You p-promised!” This was completely unfair and Cecil couldn't even understand how Kain had such a firm grip on him when practically every part of him from his waist to his knees was coated in oil. “I fulfilled my end.” Pausing his attempts to remove the obstacle keeping him solidly locked to the larger knight's hips, the smaller man scowled and eyed his all-too-stubborn lover. “You did not.” The grin broadened and Cecil gasped in a sharp breath as the dragoon rolled his hips up. “You asked to be on top.” The words took a moment to sink in; groaning, the paladin dropped his chin to his chest and sagged forward a bit. Kain was being smart on top of being stubborn. This was going to be a very drawn out battle, apparently. Well, if Kain wanted to treat it as a war, Cecil was a better tactician; he'd get what he wanted with careful planning. “...I concede.” With a smug grin, Kain began to piston his hips and the paladin braced his hands against the blonde's chest and gave himself up to the moment, immersing into the pleasure instead of stewing over his next move. He'd take this loss and learn from it, but in the meantime he'd take his enjoyment anyway.
