Hide and Peek: Second in the Chronicles of Soaked
Title: Hide and Peek
Series: The Chronicles of Soaked Author: Cuzosu Rating: M for explicit yaoi. Summary: The puppy is tired of waiting, so he takes matters into his own hands. A/N: This story came about because of Soaked - and because Vixxy and Fei agreed that it would be interesting to see Zack top for the first time. *shrug* Guess I can't resist a challenge that appeals to me, and this one most definitely did. Hide and Peek: Part I
Let the Games Begin
Reno wandered the streets of Midgar, wondering what he should do. He was bored, he was off duty, and Tseng was being a bastard and had cut his paycheck again.* Hey, maybe Zack'll have some free time! Not to mention spare gil, but Reno was more thinking about entertainment than anything else at the moment.
SOLDIER First Class Zack Fair was tired, soaking wet, and chilled to the bone. He'd been on a long mission, trying to keep monsters away from Costa del Sol, which was supposed to be a vacation spot, and one of the monsters had knocked him into the ocean, where he'd had to fight still more monsters! Enough was enough already! The flight back hadn't taken too long, thank the planet, and now there was only one thing he wanted to do: go back home, let his lover warm him up, and pass out before his head hit the pillow.
Tseng walked back in the door to his home, tired and disgruntled. The long days, short nights, and almost nonexistent time with his lover was wearing him down. If he didn't have such an unbending code of honor, he'd have lost his temper some time ago. As it was, for now he was too tired to fight.
Elsewhere, hidden from sight, Zack read the text Reno had sent - and a thought flickered across his mind. It was interesting, and he was sure he could recruit the redhead without too much trouble, but he had plans, and they came first. Oh, yes, his plans most definitely came first. There were debts due....
Mako-enhanced blue eyes watched as Tseng finally realized his puppy was missing. Let the games begin....*For costs involving: seven cars blown to bits, six emergency exits shot all to hell, five broken motorcycles, four "lost" EMRs (and Tseng didn't want to know what he'd done with them), three fried AC systems, two power outages, and an exploded helicopter. Now, Tseng knew the helicopter wasn't Reno's fault, but it had occurred to him that the redhead was intentionally making a list of things to start singing about in his newest version of "Twelve Days of Christmas at ShinRa HQ"....
