Lunch With An Ex-First Class SOLDIER
“Dude! We have to say yes!” Kyrie said as we sat outside of Balamb Gardens, in the shade of a tree.
“No, we don’t. I mean we don’t even know them.” Kira did the quotation symbol around the ‘know’ part.
“They don’t seem bad...” Claire muttered quietly, looking down at her hands on her lap.
“You guys have to understand the situation we’re in.” I spoke up, as they all looked at me. “We are lost, we’re not on Earth, we have no money, we have no home, we don’t know how the World Map goes, we have no transportation and we don’t even have food.” I explained as they looked as if to be in thought. “These are important.”
“Yeah, but SOLEED would proved us with all that.” The eldest girl said as I nodded.
“Yes, I’m aware of that but we don’t know all of them. I highly doubt we’ve seen them all.” I gazed at the building. “But I suppose it’s our only option.” I said softly as Claire tugged on my shirt. “Yes, Red?”
“We still have a week to think about it so it’s okay.” She beamed as I smiled warmly at her and patted her head. “When would we tell them our real names?”
“Yes, when will you...?” We snapped our heads to the side to see a grinning Zack. “I heard about that offer.” He sat next to Claire who almost fainted. “You should take it.”
“Maybe.” Kyrie said, as she shrugged her shoulders. “Depends how it is here.”
“I think we should just relax now, since we weren’t able to before.” I said calmly as the blue eyed boy glanced at me with a brow raised.
“Why?”
“That isn’t an asset for you to know, Mr. Fair.” I smirked as he flinched slightly. Kyrie glared at me and I smiled sheepishly.
“Vio-senpai... I’m hungry.” I turned to Claire who whispered in my ear shyly.
“Well, I am too. What is it, eleven?” I took out my phone and read the time.
“You have your phone?” Kira said in disbelief as I nodded slowly, with a brow raised. “I don’t have mine.”
“Yours was charging, loser.” Kyrie said sticking out her tongue earning a glare from the younger girl.
“I have my I pod too.” I said showing her and put them both away. “Hey, Zack. Where’s your lunch room?” He stood up and reached out a hand me, helping me up. He did that for everyone and I caught Claire as he caught Kira before they fell to the floor.
“Are they okay?” Zack asked as I nodded with a smile while Kyrie started to laugh loudly again. “Well, I’ll just carry her I guess.”
“Oh, she’ll faint again.” The eldest girl said. “Let me.”
...
“OW! What the hell, teme!!?!”
-----
“Well this is unexpected.” I said in awe as the four of us, minus Zack stared.
Almost every person from every Final Fantasy was here. I couldn’t name them all off the top of my head but I notice some one in a thick armor and I knew it had to be Steiner from Final Fantasy IX. That meant Garnet from Final Fantasy IX wasn’t too far away.
“I’ll get you some food and you guys sit somewhere.” Zack winked at us as he walked away. I caught Claire again and Kyrie just let Kira drop.
“Nice...” I sighed and carried Claire over to a booth. The elder girl dragged the grey eyed one. We sat down, Kyrie and myself at the edge, and looked around.
“Can you believe this M- Vio?” The brunette said, smiling dreamily. “We’re actually living this.”
“Yeah, but...” I muttered softly. “Why were we sent here?” She frowned slightly. “And if time is still moving on Earth, what about Riku? He’ll think we ditched him to go some where...” Guilt rushed through me as I though these things.
“I sure he’ll know when we can’t answer our phones. I sure as hell don’t have one and you don’t have a charger.” I reached in my pouch and found my charger that was in my JanSport bag. “God Damnit!”
“Here you are ladies.” We looked up to see Zack place trays in front of us. “I just guessed so...” He scratched the back of his head sheepishly.
“No, that’s alright. Thank you.” I smiled at him and Kyrie started to eat. I moved over towards the inside, seeing there was a lot of room, so Zack could sit. “You’re welcomed to join us, unless you would like to be with your friends.”
“No, I’ll stay.” He grinned and sat beside me. “So why do your friends faint like that?” We stopped eating.
“You.” Kyrie and I said in unison.
“I’m that good looking?” He smirked as Kyrie almost choked on her food she started to chew and I laughed.
“To them yes, but I’ve never been like that with some one. Kyrie is but I don’t know who...” I muttered as she gave me a glare.
“So you think I’m good looking?”
“If she yes will you shut up about it?” Kyrie said, annoyed.
“No, his ego would boost, member?” I smiled, pointing upwards. “Anyway, It’s courteous of you to purchase our lunch and sit with us seeing as we’re new.”
“No problem.” He waved the compliment off. “I didn’t say this but most of the women here are bitches so beware.” We looked at each other then at him.
“Okay, but no one’s seen Blue snap before.” The elder one said.
“Hey, what’s up guys?”
“No, we don’t. I mean we don’t even know them.” Kira did the quotation symbol around the ‘know’ part.
