Chp 11 L'amour et la Fume`e ne Peuvent se Cacher By Vincent’s Angel, Topaz, Quistis, and Sailor Poison Chapter 11 Zell peers down the dark hall way that Vincent went down "I'm getting worried Cid" Cid has been sitting on the floor. The loss a bit of blood before they found him, left him so tired but all this wait... Cid was getting antsy. He grabs his spear up. "I can't wait. Vincent wanted us here but fuck it all... I can't wait no longer!" He heads off down the cave further in. Zell runs after Cid and grabs his arm "You can't, you’re too badly hurt... let me find him" Cid, "If I don't find out... it'll eat me alive." Hand to his forehead, "Come with me Zell, I know I can't fight worth shit and you can.” Zell sighs figuring out the hard way there really is no way to change this man’s mind. Cid, "I know... I'm stubborn ol goat. But that is what I am.. and you are the cute kid who keeps me from falling on my face. Lets go Zell!" he continues his steady walk. Zell blushed at the remark of being called cute and puts his hand on Cid to help him keep balance "I'm not a KID!" Zell said trying to sound angry Cid smiles.. " I would rather be known as the cute kid then the old man. I hope we get there before the cave goes double." Zell giggled "Old man! Oh, look I think there is a cavern room up ahead." Cid laughs a bit, "Good..... if he isn't there then I might pass out from stress alone or have a heart attack or something!" Talking to help himself really. He goes to look in the cavern room ahead. Zell, "Hmm, all I see are rocks and ALOT of dust??" Cidblesbles, "Vincent?!" Zell, "I don't think he is here just look around u'd see him if he was, maybe he liked chased Fuuma further into the cavern?" Cid, "Yeah... shit... this is killing me!" anguish in his voice as he starts down the cave further. Zell, "Cid wait......" Cid pauses, "What?" Zell, "Isn't.... isn't that Vincent's gun?... over there by the rocks?" Cid, "Yeah.... " heads over to the rocks a bit confused by that and looks around the room before laying his eyes on the rocks... to kick as at rock in the pile. Zell, "You don't think...." Cid numbly, "Maybe he is under that pile.... but where is Fuuma?" Uses his spear to start moving the rocks away from the pile up anyway. What could it hurt? Besides he couldn't lift them anyway. Fuuma watches from the corner of the room as darkness covered his appearance... then carefully slipping out of the corner... Zell continued to lift rocks throwing them behind him not noticing he threw on Fuu Fuuma's head Cid digs with more and more purpose, his heart beat was going fast. The idea Vinny was hurt or.. he refused to let the idea of death enter his mind. Fuuma caught the rock with his hands as he smirked. "You should watch where you are throwing things!!" Fuuma growled. Zell turned around sharply, and fell back onto the rocks seeing what he saw who was Fuuma Cid growls and yells when he sees Fuuma, "Where is Vincent?!" Fuuma, “Did you miss me?” Sneered as he pointed to the pile. "There," he said in a smooth tone. Zell, “You get Vincent, Cid, make sure he's alright. I'll deal with the one-armed freak!" Zell growled showing his fangs to Fuuma. Cid does a low growl that was not human. His body waves a bit as his eyes glow a bright blue. His steps have more energy as he centers himself in the room. Spear glows with same color blue of his eyes. There is a odd hum in the air. Chamber fills with darkness and Cid leaps up in a perfect jump. From nowhere a golden dragon appears. It has a ghost like quality as Cid lands on the back with same ghost like quality. Dragon flies at Fuuma, to snap with teeth and slash with claws, as it passes, Cid spins his spear to strike at Fuuma. Cid leaps off the dragon to land next to the pile of rocks and back to normal. The dragon charges into Fuuma and explodes in energy. The light flashed before Zell’ss, ns, not knowing what to say he stand there with his mouth opened wide waiting to see if the man named Fuuma still stood Fuuma staggers back a step. The pain in his body left him in shock. Never expected to be that hurt from one person. He screams in rage and sends energy waves at them. Zell covers his eyes trying stand his ground up against the powerful force. Cid flies smack into the wall, feeling rocks smack into his body. He thought he heard a crack but was too dizzy to know where... slides down the wall. Angry, Fuuma cough up more blood then attack as his energy blasting everything. A shield forms around the cave. Zell uncovered his eyes trying to fohis his way against the power, but fails feeling his feet slide further back inch by inch. Cid tries to use the pile of rocks, whatever is left of it as shield as he removes rocks, all his mind can handle since he used up too much energy in the one attack. As blood comes from the side of his mouth, Fuuma swings his sword like crazy, as the ceiling is starting to collapse and the walls falling in. Cid shield's Vincent's poor body with his own, rather easy to just fall onto him when Cid has not much energy left anyway and take all the extra rocks. His face pale from hurting and shock of seeing Vincent like that. Tries to protect him the best his can. Zell starts to glow brilliantly the rocks bursting air not touching his body as the earth moves around him the summon Brothers burst out of the ground and hold the ceiling up from collapsing on himself, Cid, and Vincent. As Fuuma thought of nothing but, to kill these people that caused him his pain, he noticed how this people reminded him of something, something too familar. Then he has a memory flash "I will pct yct you...Because you are willing to protect my sister" What? how can this be? who is that? I am evil Kamui, the dark haired man mumble to himself. In his head he hears, “No,your not!! your Fuuma Monou..Kamui Shirou's childhood friend... “ A white flashes entered his mind as floods of memories entered through. He said mentally, “What the hell?...Kamui..I'm sorry..” Fuuma stops attacking as the walls collapse around and calmly he asks, "Do you really know where Kamui is?" Cid says as he checks Vincent for a pulse, "No... I am sorry but I don't. No one here does. Maybe he isn't in this world." Fuuma removes the shield as the shield lowered the falling rocks disappeared, no more collapsing. Nothing. It was just like befo Zel Zell slowly opens his eyes and the summon dispels leaving only a light dust where they use to stand, "What's wrong with you?" Fuuma replied, “Surly he would have came if he was here, " walking off. Cid tries to drag Vincent from the cave. He didn't give a shit anymore about Fuuma as he talks to Vincent, "Shit don't die on me ya damn vampire! I accidentally leave ya alone for two years and you gotta go die on the first get together... you die and I'll do something stupid I swear it. I do something like Cloud and it will be so fucking stupid it won't be funny." Zell watched the man walk off, and walked over to help Cid carry Vincent out of the cave
