Chapter 11: Danielle Valentine meets a Chocobo
“They look like giant Chickens!” Danielle roared with laughter as Cloud raced his blue chocobo.
“Yeah, but they are fun to ride.” Beth said.
“How do you ride one?” Danielle asked.
“You got to ask Cloud...” Beth said, taking a drink of her choco-cola.
“You mean Captain Oblivious?” Danielle said, taking a handful of Cid’s popcorn.
“Yes, the chocobos are his...” Beth said, snickering.
“I’ll wait until the chocobo is done pecking a hole in his head,” Danielle said, and sure enough, the blue bird he at one point wanted to ride. It had thrown him at the starting line and was currently pecking his head, apparently thinking the spiky hair-do was greens.
Beth nodded.
Cid looked down at his popcorn, “Who has been eating my popcorn?”
Sephiroth sighed, “COME ON NUMBER THREE!!!!!”

Danielle talked to the injured Cloud, who had his head in a plaster cast. “Hey Cloud, could I possibly ride a chocobo?”
Cloud nodded softly, “If you can handle Blazer and Blueberry, go right ahead.”

Moments later, Danielle was sitting at the starting gate on the back of a black chocobo named Blazer. The gun was up and it shot.
Blazer was off like a blaze. Danielle hung onto the reigns, screeching the entire way.
“Cloud, did you tell her not to kick the chocobo?” Beth said, taking a hand of Cid’s popcorn.
“No, I told her that’s how you get them to go.” Cloud said.
Beth thumped Cloud in the skull cast and he fell over in pain, screeching almost as loud as Danielle.
Danielle ran by on Blazer, cursing the entire time...“Ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucccccccccccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyoooooooooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!”
Vincent was watching, “She’s winning!”
Cloud couldn’t believe it, “No way! She can’t be winning...” He stood up, “I gave her the wildest Chocobo I had!”
Beth smacked Cloud again, “Baka!”

Danielle laughed hysterically as Sephiroth began cheering, "YES GO!!!! YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT WITH ME....AND I WON'T EVEN STRUGGLE!!! I'LL TAKE YOU ON AN ACTUAL DATE!!!! GO DANIELLE!!!!!"
Blazer quickly passed the other chocobos and Danielle ended winning the Chocobo races. She got down and patted the bird, which seemed to almost bow to her before going to it's cage, she took the prize money, and the trophy before smirking at Cloud, "Now Captain Oblivious...you were trying to get me hurt with that bird..."
Cloud stuttered, "Um...no I wasn't"
Danielle's eyes glowed brightly, "Hell's FURY, level one, demon Donovan!" The gateway appeared and opened to reveal a rather attractive Demon.
It bowed before her, "who is my targer Mistress?"
She looked at Cloud menacingly, "Cloud Strife."
It kissed her hand reverantly before going to attack.
"Now Sephiroth, as you were saying while I was racing..."
He put his arm out to her, "Dinner first?"
She smirked, "sure, after all you're gonna need all the strength you can get...."
They walked off, leaving everyone else standing and watching Cloud get his ass kicked, Beth looked at the demon, "you know...he's kinda cute."
Vincent growled, "no."
"I was just stating a fact....besides...he obeys Danielle....that in itself is kinda scary..."
Cid stood and started to walk after Sephiroth and Danielle.
"Cid where are you going?"
"To tell the others we'll be delayed...then join those two for dinner."
Vincent and Beth looked at each other before shrugging and following Cid.
