The Attrition of Hope

They relaxed as the maidens played with their hair and lovingly made them over, running their hands all over their bodies and through every orifice. Now that they had made their choice, they could indulge in the wonderful treatment as their loving captors did the rest.

Terra and Celes lost all their skills and experience. They loved the new colors of their hair, and the cute little clips that kept them held up in ponytails. Their legs looked so wonderful in their brand new, glistening pantyhose. Their lips, magnificent in their new makeup, and their accessories hugged their wonderful bodies.

They loved being accepted, being a part of a cute team. In the deep magic of Doma castle, the former heroines’ minds were warped and they were converted into two monsters. Terra and Celes now belonged to Goddess. They were part of her army.

“I’m so sorry, man. I just can’t take it anymore. I’ve been up all night. I’ve been tossing and turning. I can’t deny it anymore. I’ve been thinking about her ever since Owzer’s. I want her so madly.”

“*snore*”

“Locke, buddy, if I end up fighting you because of this… I’m sorry. I’m sorry, Locke.”

“*snore*”

He turned and exited the tent.

Locke woke up. He wasn’t tormented by the same dream. Sometimes when life is a nightmare, one’s dreams are surprisingly peaceful. He woke up from his sleeping bag, after having briefly crashed and related the story to the other party members who decided to let him have some alone time. Relm, Edgar, Mog, Setzer, Gau and Sabin remained, and the previous night, they discussed:

“Who knows what those women will do to Terra and Celes?”

“….”

“I can’t believe they fell for a bunch of lesbos!”

“Rar! Gau wrestle with Barb-E in Veldt! Gau want to kiss, very pretty!”

“So they’re very seductive…”

“What does this mean for us, as heroes, if we can’t even resist their charms?”

“It means we need to keep fighting, kupo!”

“A couple of dames stand no match against a bit of muscle.”

“Don’t you understand, kupo? They are magical, and dangerous!”

“Yes… those types are at casinos often. When I gambled, they would try to deceive me and tempt me out of my bluffs. It is very difficult.”

“I don’t get it! Why don’t you all just grow up?”

“Relm, it’s harder than that. They are honestly magical.”

“But they’re just a bunch of elegant sluts in dresses and pantyhose. Why can’t you just deal with it?”

“Gau think very pretty.”

“Yeah, their legs are quite pretty, in their pantyhose. I have a bit of a thing for them, if you don’t mind me being open. I love a nice pair of legs. Why do you think I kidnapped Celes in her opera dress?”

“Hm, but let’s stop there mate. I don’t feel like hearing your fantasies today.”

“Alright Sabin. But what now? Are we going to be fighting Terra and Celes? Locke, you’ve been so quiet.”

“Yeah…” Locke stammered, “I just have a lot to think about. We probably will have to fight them… *sigh*.”

“Dear goodness…”

“Get some rest, Locke!”

“Ok…”

Locke turned and noticed that Edgar’s sleeping bag was empty. He crawled out of his own and went into the next tent to wake the other party members up.

“Have you seen Edgar?”

“Nope. I went for a little walk earlier, and didn’t see anything,” said Sabin.

“Odd,” thought Locke. He returned back to the tent, and there saw a little note that he had missed before. He picked it up- it was written on wrinkly parchment.

“Edgar is such a great kisser. And the sex is great. By the time you’ve read this, we’ll have fucked away every memory of him being a hero. And a few extra fucks, just to revel in the irony.

How does it feel to have your friends submit to us one by one? How does it feel to be betrayed by every fantasy and give in to temptation no matter how hard you try?

I care about you, which is why I want you to come to me. I’m wet for you, Locke. I have a finger that longs to stroke you. A tongue that yearns to devour you. I’m ready to take you inside of me, and drink every drop of your cum. I’ll fulfill your deepest, wildest fantasy.”

Signed with a kiss. Locke dropped the note and fell to the ground as Mog appeared at the door.

“Kupo?”

“You don’t want to read that note,” Locke said, white, “They have Edgar.”

“Kupo!”

Sabin also appeared, “They have my bro!!! What the hell?”

Locke’s eyes were watering. Sabin came and patted him on the shoulder.

“Why… are we so GOD DAMNED WEAK!?!?!??” cried Locke. Sabin continued to pat him as her reached down to pick up the note. He read it, his eyes popping out towards the end.

“Wow, I don’t know how you even got this far, mate. These lasses are for real.”

“But… we still need to fight them. And we’re falling one by one! I don’t know how the hell we can do this!!”

“But we must, kupo!” assured Mog.

“I’ve heard it before! From Edgar, Terra, Celes, all of them! And now, they’re all sex toys of these monsters!”

“It doesn’t look good. But I’d like to think I’m less of a lady’s man than my brother. I wrestle bears. Not girls.”

“This doesn’t matter! They fucking charmed women, for the love of…” Locke continued to blare.

“Kupo! We need to try!”

“NO! You don’t understand! When they look at you… when they start to hypnotize you… you begin to lose it. You try to fight. You know it’s wrong, but they slowly dull your mind. They chisel at your resistance. It’s inevitable. They know what to do. They know how to hypnotize. They have the upper hand! There’s no hope!!!”

Relm entered the tent.

“That’s what they want us to feel, Locke. That they have won, that they have the upper hand. Hopefully, we can learn from these experiences and outwit them.”

“Relm, you’re so young. I’m not sure if you understand the situat-“

“No, I do! What if we just outsmart them?”

“How?” asked Sabin.

“Why don’t we play on their big egos? We can pretend that they’ve won, and when they let their guard down, BLAMMO!!” Relm jumped up when she said the last word.

“What do you mean?” the fighter continued.

“We pretend to lose hope and surrender. It’ll be like a Trojan horse.”

“Look, I appreciate your guys’ ideas, but these won’t work…”

Setzer came into the tent, with Gau.

“We need to think of something,” said the gambler, “We can’t just give up. We owe Celes, Terra, Cyan and Edgar more than that. We’ll think of something.”

“Ya! Gau want to fight. Gau like wrestle monsters more than wrestle Barb-E.”

“I don’t want to spend eternity drawing portraits of myself in gloves and a holder.”

“I’d have to side with Gau on this one,” said Sabin.

“And I won’t relearn my dances to slow dance with those sluts, kupo!” said Mog.

“You don’t get it!” screamed Locke, “All those hopes are futile, once they kiss you!” He looked up with deep, hopeless, yet somewhat sinister eyes, “Gau they’ll civilize you and make you their butler. Relm, you’ll look marvelous in their dress. Mog, you’ll be dancing slowly with them, and Sabin, you’ll be their big toy! Setzer, you’ll fulfill your foot dreams, and I will finally be at peace. This is all so futile. We’ll be happier in the end…”

Sabin whacked Locke across the face, knocking him to the ground, “Get a hold of yourself!”

“Ugh…” said Locke, coming to.

“Have you lost all hope?” asked Relm.

“…”

“You can’t give up like this!”

“No, you can’t. We need to fight. We need to stay smart. We can do this. We’ll learn from our mistakes!”

“Thanks for trying Relm, but…”

“But what?”

Relm and Locke argued into the day as the other party members tried to develop a course of action. It looked like they would attempt to go to the Fanatic’s Tower and try out Relm’s plan. Perhaps appealing to their egos was the best thing.
