Authors Notes

Authors notes:

No sorry - it’s not a new chapter!

I decided to release some general information regarding what was going through my mind when I wrote each of my fics - this first release being FFX-The Cell next Door. I intend to release the same for my Disgaea fic within the next few days/weeks and to release similar notes for any future fics I write.

It’s basically just so you guys, the readers can understand a bit more about what my intentions/inspirations were and moreover, it’s something to think about.

FFX - TCND was written late at night over the course of 2 nights, and a few more to tidy up formatting, alter some lines I wasn't happy with.
A couple of glasses of wine later, I set about writing the fic, for whatever reason I wanted to create the ultimate lemon - ie: include all different kinds of fucking, cater to many different fetishes, longer than most of the single scene stuff I've read etc.

Just after I started writing I decided to try something else. What I tried to create here was the ultimate lemon, which also doubles up as the ultimate lemon parody. I don't know how many of you actually picked up on that aspect of the fic while reading, but anyway - it ended up being a 50/50 on both counts - I think I achieved what I set out to. If you picked up on the inherent humour of the fic then you probably understand what I was up to.

Also the snake/tentacle/caterpillar??? thingy that Rikku enjoys - again I didn't bother finalising what exactly it was due to the nature of the fic - hell I think it started as a tentacle then somehow became a snake, god knows what happened!

Anyway, little things like Yuna's comment about Rikku being fucked first were supposed to alert the reader to the fact that the fic shouldn't be taken at face value. The humour is prevelant on so many levels that no matter how you're reading it you should get a laugh or two out of it.

So there you have, sheer barely cohesive madness slammed together into one fic, with the underlying many-levelled humour gluing it all together.
