So guys it took so long for a update but recently my world has crumble out from under my feet and it took along time to come to terms with… anyway here’s another up date for all those who asked, I’m sorry I kept you waiting but sometimes things get in the way. I’d like to say a big thanks to my reviewers and Erin without you there wouldn’t have been any more chapters.. No Squall/Seifer sex in this chapter but I promise it’ll be in the next.

Once again…. Not my characters I’m just borrowing them. I make no money from this.

Selphie was woken by the sound of gentle knocking on her door. She glanced at her watch, nine thirty. She wasn’t expecting anyone; maybe Zell’s been into Gardens coffee supply again. She headed to answer the door as she rubbed the kinks in her neck from falling asleep on the sofa.

When Selphie opened the door a distressed Rinoa met her. Rinoa’s eyes were still a little red and puffy from the restaurant, her pale cheeks streaked with black lines of mascara. “Rin…” Selphie gasped. “Come in… what’s wrong?” Selphie asked with mild concern.

Selphie stepped aside to let Rinoa in, wrapping an arm around her and guiding her to sit on the sofa. Selphie sat Rinoa on the sofa sitting close to her, arm still wrapped supportably round the miserable girls shoulders. “Did something go wrong at dinner?” Selphie asked softly trying to coax what was wrong out of Rinoa.

“No, nothing went wrong at dinner.” Rinoa said as a wobbly smile darted across her face. “Everything went fine… Great even.” Her smile became more sure and bright, as she caught the look of sheer confusion that settled over Selphie’s face.

Selphie gave Rinoa a tight hug “So dinner went well, and that’s why you’re crying?” Selphie asked trying to work out if it was Rinoa that had cracked or if it had been her that had missed something. “I think you’re going to have to tell me more because I think I’ve missed some thing.”

Rinoa hug Selphie back, a light giggle forming in her chest. “It went well because I told Squall about us.” Rinoa pushed Selphie back so she could see her face. Clearly this wasn’t what Selphie had been expecting.

“You told Squall about us…” Selphie said with a hint of wonder in her voice. “You really told him about us?” Selphie gazed deep into Rinoa’s eyes looking for any signs of regret Rinoa might have. “Are you sure that this is what you want?”

“Of course I do.” Rinoa looked away from Selphie for an instant before turning back to her. “I want us to be together. I love you but it still hurt to leave Squall… I do care for him… I didn’t want to hurt him.” Rinoa spoke quietly as she took Selphie’s hand in hers.

“I love you too.” Selphie brought her hand up to cup Rinoa’s cheek, brushing her thumb lightly over it to wipe away the make up smears. Selphie leaned into Rinoa tenderly pressing her lips to Rinoa’s soft pouting ones. Selphie pulled back after a few moments and squeezed Rinoa’s hand lightly.

“Do you still have that tub of caramel swirl or mint chock-chip in your freezer?” Rinoa smiled, “I think I could do with some about now.”

“Yeah I still have some.” Selphie smiled brightly. “How about you go and change into a t-shirt and slacks and I’ll get the ice cream and the big comfy floor pillows and we’ll watch T.V and pig out.”

Rinoa smiled at her girlfriend and nodded. It was one of the best things about Selphie, she always knew what to do when Rinoa was feeling down, and now just like always she did what she did best.

Rinoa went and changed into the slacks and t-shirt and returned in time to see Selphie fluff the last cushion into comfort. The sofa had been pushed back to make room for the mountains of floor pillows and DVD’s that now lay pilled near to the T.V. Rinoa scanned through the titles, Pretty woman, Splash, St Elmo’s Fire, some kind of wonderful, Dirty Dancing, The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink looks like it was going to be a chick-flick filed night.

Selphie plopped down on a pile of pillows and patted the other pile for Rinoa. When Rinoa had settled into the nest Selphie handed her a spoon and a tub of caramel swirl ice cream as she pulled her into a tight hug. “So what do you want to watch first?”

Rinoa scanned the titles once again and an evil little grin appeared on her face. Every movie she could see she liked, however Selphie wasn’t really into the cheesy romance scene and really only had them for Rinoa. “How about dirty Dancing?” Rinoa felt Selphie’s shudder so she put on her sweetest smile. “We haven’t watched that one in a long time.”

“If that’s the one you want then I guess we can watch it.” Selphie said trying to sound supportive of her girlfriend’s choice. There was just something about Patrick Swasze in tights that made her eyes bleed.

Selphie wriggled free from Rinoa and moved to put the DVD on. Dirty Dancing was just in her hand when a giggling Rinoa stopped her. “It’s okay.” She smiled. “I know you hate that one. How about Pretty woman instead?”

Selphie sighed in relief. “Okay Pretty Woman it is then.” Selphie popped the DVD in and settled herself for a night of hugs and cheese, but hey, if it cheered Rinoa up she’d have walked to the island closest to hell and back just for Rinoa to crack a smile, so a few movies weren’t going to kill her.

By the time Richard Gere was riding around in a white limo and climbing fire escapes both of the girls were sound asleep on the floor, nestled peacefully into each other.

Sorry I know it's a very short chapter, the others will be longer and more smut-filled but it may take a few weeks before i can properly update again... I'm sorry i have a few important things that must be sorted out.
