Chapter Two

Seifer panted and hid inside a dumpster as a police cruiser drove by. 'Hyne! Why the fuck did I do that!? He doesn't deserve that kind of shit!' He thought. 'Well if he wouldn't have teased me into wanting him. I mean how he dressed, and smelt. Who wouldn't want him? So it's his fault. He asked for it.' Seifer sighed and climbed out of the bin, looking around.

'No that's not true. He's not the sick one.' He thought and walked down to the docks, looking for a boat to take. 'I need to get out of here until everything blows over, then maybe Squall would forgive me.' He found a small looking yacht thing that most likely had a small bed and stuff in it. Looking around he made sure no one was watching and hopped in.

'No keys. I'll have to hot wire it.' Seifer bent below the steering wheel column and in no time had it going. He put it into gear and took off, the owner not realizing it was missing. Seifer wiped his nose as it started to run, as did his tears. 'I hope I didn't hurt him too much. Damn it Squall! Why couldn't you at least acknowledge how I felt! I'm sure even a blind man could see it, but you were so oblivious to everything.' He thought and steered to nowhere in paticular.

"Why couldn't he just fucking enjoy it!?" Seifer yelled and punched the wheel. "Why couldn't it just be simple!" He continued to himself. "I should have just told the idiot how I felt, then maybe he would've wanted it!" He sighed and shook his head. 'I should dye my hair or wear a wig, change my cloths.' He changed his thoughts.

'I should just turn myself in, but I don't want to go to jail. I'm such a coward.' He thought in disgust. 'I can't ever face my punishments, not even when I was young. Damn I'm weak. Squall was always the strong one. Always faced up to what has to be done, always took everything like a man.'

He choked back a sob as he remembered the look on Squall's face. So hurt, so terrorfied and so broken. The anguished cried, the tears and screaming. Squall's beautiful blue eyes red, bloodshot and big with tears. The strong hero, so smart and powerful, broken by a simple act. Simple, but brutal and cruel. Most of all, unforgivable.

'Raijin, Fuijin, I need you two more than ever right now.' He thought and throttled onward into the empty water.

Meanwhile Laguna, Ward and Kiros were heading to Balamb and they were told everything that Cid told Laguna. "How...how could that happen? I mean, why the hell was that guy even let back into Garden!?" Kiros said. "I don't know. This wouldn't have happened if that bastard wasn't there." Laguna growled.

"Yeah. He shouldn't have been trusted to come back to the school he tried destroying. They claim he was under Ultimecia's power, but now he has no excuse to hid behind." Kiros said and Ward signed. "When Seifer's caught, what's going to happen?"

"Well Ward, hopefully he can be executed." Laguna calmly said and they went silent. Balamb City came into view and they landed in an empty lot outside the city. "Okay, now we can get to the bottome of this. See if they made any progress and maybe see if we can talk to Squall." Laguna said.

They walked off the ship and entered the city, hailing a cab for the hospital. Some Esther soldiers were left to guard the Presidential Plane. With a sigh Laguna paid the driver and they entered the large hospital. They went up to the receptionist and Laguna cleared his throat. "Could I get the room number for Squall Leonhart's room? I'm his father." Laguna said and she told them the room. It seemed like the longest walk of his life.
