Seifer to Rean

Seifer to Rean

Seifer growled in annoyance. "Let me in! I'm the father Dammit!" he yelled, reaching for his gun blade, he had forgotten he had left it back at the house. Despite his shouts, threats and yelling he was not allowed in until it was over.

Twenty six hours it had lasted, the child was several weeks over due, causing complications and problems in the birthing and the pregnancy. "Seifer you can come in, and it’s a girl congratulations!" the nurse had said opening the door for him.

He rushed in going straight to the red head on the bed. The red head was beautiful even though looking tired, worn, and sweating, her stomach had had bandages red with blood, the sheets too had had blood, and a small bundle of lavender blankets held a soft pink little girl, who had already had red and blonde hair. Seifer went to the woman first and kissed her softly.

“you okay?" he and asked worriedly but still slightly impassively as was his nature. “Yes Seifer... I'm fine... just very tired is all, may I name her Love?" the woman asked looking at him almost beseechingly. "OF course!" he said quickly. "Then can we name her Rean?" the redhead asked him.

"Rean Mae Almasy then... it's a perfect name darling." Seifer said softly his gaze had softened considerably as he gazed between his wife and his daughter.

Two days after and they went home. But all was not well with them, the redhead was continuously sick, or was always tired and worn out; her C-section was visible and hadn't healed well at all. On one of those bad days little Rean started to cry, a softer sound then most, Seifer having been tired himself walked in and picked her up.

"Rean don't cry! Stop it!" He said scowling slightly at her and in an annoyed tone, Rean had stopped crying and blinked, she then suddenly yawned and snuggled close to his chest, giggled slightly as well.

It was almost three weeks after that that the redhead died. Her body had stopped working and there wasn't anything anyone could have done.

Seifer had gone to the funeral little Rean as well though she didn't know what was going on ,only being six weeks old at the time. A servant had taken her away when it was over, it had been spring, July then. And it rained. Seifer stayed put at the tombstone for long after.

He became sour, mean and easily angered after the redhead's death, the only one he ever had patience or a soft voice to was little Rean. Though what she didn't know was, her future would be harder then it seemed, and that Seifer would put his ideals onto her now. And that she already had a rival in the world.
