Morning After


Squall groaned a little,rolling on his back,sliding out of the bed,a soft sigh crossing his lips as he looked for his clothes, it hurt to move,but he needed to get back to his room to get more clothes before heading up to his office.tugging on his pants,he sat back down,leaning over,kissing seifer gently.

Seifer kisses back grabbing one of Squall's wrist's at the same time. Pulling him down for a deeper kiss.

Squall reared back surprised,having not thought the man was awake,before kissing him back,relaxing,before pulling away slowly,panting slightly."morning."

"You have pants on." Seifer frowns not yet letting go of his wrist. "your not in bed." He frowns harder then scowls. He let's go of Squall's wrist and lays back putting his arm over his face.dd

Squall sighed a little,not sure what was wrong,before pulling the man's arm up so he could see his eyes."Seifer,I have a meeting this morning.You're welcome to come watch me do paperwork if you want."He shrugged, not sure what to think, or how to get the scowl off seifer's face.

"nah go to work Squall." Seifer says looking at him then sighing and closing his eyes, letting his features relax. his entire body relaxed. something that had not yet happened while he had come back.

Squall smiled a little,leaning down,pressing a gentle kiss to his lips."Get some rest.I'll see you about lunch."He said,getting up,a soft moan escaping at the pain it was to standing up straight.

Seifer grins. At least Squall would remember the sex all day. Oh yeah, and it was all Seifer too. Seifer was feeling pretty smug over that little fact. But... More then anything he felt like he had a place where he fit now.

Squall rolled his eyes,walking out.Really,the man had a ego the size of galbadia.

~Lunch~

Quistis eyed the commander,who was looking positively happy to be sitting at his desk,which he almost never was."Is that all?"

Squall nodded a little,comfy in his plush chair,it was just so soft."Yea.Cant think of anything else."he looked at selphie."So,how many students did you get to sign up for class?"

"I coerced... I mean I got twenty three and five SeeD's!" Selphie says happily. handign over a copy of the list with all the signatures.

Squall snorted a little,having caught her slip,looking the list over,frowning a little as he tried to put a face with a name.Looking up,he glanced at the clock."good enough to be a full class."

Quistis stood,"Yea.Now to go get everything ready."She smiled moving towards the door."Bye."She said shutting the door behind her.

Squall sighed a little,pushing to his feet,freezing once he got there, allowing his body a moment to get used to moving again.Before looking at selphie."you joining me for lunch?"He asked,having already caught irvine earlier to make lunch plans, and assumed the brunette woman would be tagging along.

"Sure am! Irvine told me you cornered him." Selphie grins and pokes Squall lightly in the side teasingly.

Squall squirmed away from her, walking towards the door,opening it."I did not corner him.I just asked if he wanted to join me and seifer for lunch."He grumbled getting in the elevator.

"I know Squall. I was teasing... you remember what that is right?" Selphie asks giving his a strange look before getting in. "You know somethings different about you today."

Squall rolled his eyes,looking down at the girl,"There is nothing different.I'm the same as I was yesterday,and the day before,and so on."He shrugged,shivering a little at the thought of a different kind of teasing then what she was talking about.

"Did you have sex?" Selphie asks curiously. No way she was thinking. Really who'd he have it with? but it was the only thing that fit.

"what?"squall jerked upright from leaning against the elevator wall as it stopped at the bottom,turning to look at her in surprise."where'd you get that?"He said,looking a little wide eyed as he stepped out.

"you did! Who? Who was it?!" Salphie asks her eyes going wide as she begins to bounce in excitement following him.

"I've changed my mind.I dont want you to come to lunch with me."He grumbled,hands in his pockets as he tried to ignore her,heading for the lunch room,figuring seifer was smart enough to come out around lunch time if he wanted something.

"To late! Tell me who! Who! Come one Squall tell me please!!!" Selphie begs.

Seifer was sitting at a table the cowboy next to him. They were both silent. Seifer not wanting to talk and Irvine to nervous to talk.

"no.Go away."He said looking at her as he got food,heading for seifer and irvine,sliding into a seat."Irvine,tell your girlfriend to leave me alone."

"He won't tell me to do anything now tell me who you had sex with!" Selphie says slammign her tray on the table.

"Eh you had sex?! Who with?" Irvine grins perking up a whole lot.

Seifer just grins and takes a bite of his food.

"No one."Squall grumbled,blushing,studying his food as he ate."Dont make me order you to leave me alone."It wasnt that he was ashamed of having sex,it was more that he was naturally a private person and didn't want to share.

"Seifer you've been around him a lot do you know?" Selphie says snubbing Squall now.

Irvine grins and shurgs his shoulders.

Squall looked up,eyes lingering on seifer before looking at the other two."My sex life isn't an open topic.If I find you two asking around about it,I will find a mission in the middle of a fucking dessert for you,and leave you there for a month."He said,agiated that his friends seemed to think they had to know everything he did.

Seifer chuckles. "Leave off them. They're just curious as to who got to you." Seifer says calmly.

Irvine smiles a bit. "Alright I'll lay off. Not that you don't send us to the worst places anyways." He says sitting back in his chair.

Selphie pouts. "Fine, Like I'd want to know anyways." she says unhappily.

Squall laughed a little,reaching over,ruffling selphie's hair good naturedly."I'll tell you....eventually.Just let me enjoy it for now."

Quistis grinned sliding into the chair next to selphie."and what are we harassing squall about today?"

"He had sex! But he won't say who with! But he said he will. So I'm sure he will. He doesn't lie." Selphie says fixing her hair and kicking Squall under the table for mussing it up.

Irvine chuckles taking a drink and shaking his head a little.

Seifer smiles. This was... Amusing to say the least.

"Fuck!"Squall cursed jumping surprised when her foot collided with his shin bone."Selphie,keep it up and you'll be the last one to know who I slept with."

Quistis raised a eyebrow,looking around the table,before looking at seifer."You've been with him since you got back. Did you notice who he was with?"

Selphie sticks out her tongue.

Seifer raises an eyebrow. "why would he tell me." he says simply and stands with his emty tray and starts walking to the counter to give it back.

"Is it just me or does he ,like, still seem a little stiff around us?" Irvine asks softly.

Quistis nodded,"He does.Its like he's not sure what to do around us."SHe frowned,the new seifer was confusing her.

Squall shrugged,keeping his thoughts to himself as he ate.

"I wish we could do something to cheer him up." Selphie sighs elbow on the table hand holding her chin.

"I know watcha mean darlin'." Irvine nods.

Seifer walks out of the Cafeteria heading out to the quad to take a walk once more.

Quistis sighed,"we have no missions this weekend.maybe we can get him to go into town with everyone."

Squall shrugged finishing up his food even though he wanted to go after the man right away.Finishing he stood,dropping his tray off before following seifer into the quad.

"You think somethings going on too?" Selphie grins looking at Irvine.

"Hey now! I don't know nothin' and nobodies told me anything!" Irvine says defensively.

"yea,but that doesnt stop you from knowing things."Quistis grinned."What do you thinks going on?"

"Why are you both jumpin' on my tail! I told you I don't know anythin'" Irvine says as a last hope ditch effort.

"uh-huh."quistis said,though she didn't look convinced."Whatever you say cowboy."

"Fess Irvy. Or else." Selphie says narrowing her eyes.

Irvine slumps. "so I might know." Irvine says defeatedly.

Quistis studied the man closely."well.Tell us."

"Yeah come on Irvy spill it." Selphie says cheerily.

Irvine sighs. "So Squall came to me yesterday and asked me some stuff... about relationships... He's been hanging out with Seifer... they slept in the same bed the first night... We all know... Seifer isn't what he used to be. and well... I've noticed how Seifer and Squall interect you know? Like how they relax a little more when the other is near. So... there you go." Irvine says fiddlign with his hat.

Quistis stared at him,shock leaving her speechless as she sorted through what he was saying."Squall...and seifer?"She blinked slowly,really it made sense,but watching them together in the past was different then how they were now.

"That makes perfect sense!" Selphie squeels. "I should have realised!"

"Yeah well this goes no further right? cause if SQuall finds out... I'm really seriously dead." Irvine says completely serious.

Quistis laughed a little."dead?Nah.He'll just leave you in the middle of dessert for a month or so."

"I dunno... He seems a lot more serious about this then anything else." Irvine shakes his head.
