Yayas we finally meet his soon to be love interest. For anyone who's read it (doubtful at this point) I changed her name. I never liked the one I chose to begin with it was simply a place filler till I could decided between the names I wanted. Well I've decided and made corrections. I think Ive got them all but if I don't simply whack me up side my head and point it out. Again don't rip me a new one for world mistakes I never played the original game did watch AC and have done lots of reading but I'm sure theres something I don't know.So if I did fark up just tell me and Ill do my best to fix it unless its one of those nasty plot bunny things then well have stew.

Hunched over like some wild animal was a thin dirty creature. Hair matted about over bloody dirt encrusted rags made of what looked to be animal skins and reminents of officers and scientists clothing. Red chaos eyes moved wildly over the party as it collected in front of it. Very animalistic sounds issued from its mouth. Some sounding like words garbled with growls. The creature backed away and cowered into a ball in a corner trying to hide its self behind its hair and rags whimpering almost like a dog.

“What is she?” Someone breathed Tiffa dint recognize the strained voice as she watched on in horror at the creature in front of her eyes. She heard movement rustling of fabric creaking of leather. Her head snapped around to see Vincent walking boldly towards the creature her eyes went back to the creatures witch had grown big and she was becoming agitated trying to squash herself into the corner looking for a way out moving both ways before backing up.

“Vincent! No shes a crazed...” His hand rose cutting her off as he moved forward to squat near the panicking creature. The creature wimperd and howled softly slashing out with her bony sharp nailed hands. He deftly caught them and held her hands prisoner watching the creatures panic grow ten fold.

“No.” Was the solitary word uttered from the creatures mouth in a voice that spoke of unnameable fears. It made the rest gasp. No one was sure if she could think above a very primitive fight or flight level much less speak . Vincent dropped her hands and tilted his head light to one side watching the wild red eyes fill with confusion.Vincent carefully lifted one hand to move a clot of hair from the girls face to see her more clearly sighed as she pulled back and tried to turn away.

“We are not going to hurt you.”he spoke calmly as his gloved fingers slipped around her chin. She tried to snap at him but he was to fast for her his fingers gripped her chin even as she wormed her small body trying to get away from him. He slowly turned her face to the light to look at her dirt crusted face. His head tilted one way then another as his eyes moved over her she tried to claw his fingers off of her face witch he simply ignored.

“Do you have a name?” he asked quietly before removing his hand from her chin. She watched him wairely but gave a short nod.

“Can you tell me what it is?” He queried. She again gave a curt nod but said nothing her eyes still watching his movements.

“Will you tell me?” he said after a moments thought. She hesitated and looked at the group behind him. After a few moments of toying with her lip watching the others she returned her gaze to him.

“Victoria.” she said softly blinking at the collective gasp from the ones behind Vincent. He raised a hand and motioned for Tiffa to come over. Tiffa took her time taking slow and soundless steps at to not startle Victoria. She moved over beside Vincent and bent over slightly her hair falling over her shoulder and her face beaming with a smile.

“Im Tiffa.” She said her charm working on the scared girl to calm her actions. Tiffa watched as the girl reached out a grubby hand to touch her hair.

“H-how did you get your hair this way?” she asked becoming intranced by the way Tiffa's hair moved with just a breeze not matted in clumps haning limpy down her back. Tiffa chuckled and held out her hand to the girl. Victoria pulled back sharply still jittery.

“Its ok if you come with us Ill show you how to get your hair like this.” Tiffa said her smile dominating her face as she nodded just slightly. Victoria bit her lip and slowly reached out to take Tiffa's hand.Tiffa slowly pulled the girl to her feet and wraped an arm about her shoulders.She carefully walked with the girl towards the broekn door. Just before exiting with the girl she turned for a second.

“Cloud make sure you get the hard drive transfer off the computer in the other room it should be done by now. The rest of you hurry up and see if theres anything eles we need then head back to Shera.” She said in her authorative manner then she turned and led the girl out.

“Who died and made her boss?” Cid griped as Cloud went to do his wifes bidding.Retriving the hard drive transferCloud walked back to the party smiling at the whap from Vincent to the back of Cid's had and his whining.
