Chapter 2

Zack couldn't believe He was back.
No, couldn't believe he came back. This was were every thing started to go wrong. Where he joined ShinRa. Ware he met Sephiroth. Ware he met Cloud.
And were ShinRa made it's home.
Sephiroth had once said he was an idiot.
Now Zack new it was true.

Of all the places he could of taken Cloud to hide Zack had chosen Midgar. Why? It seamed like a good idea at the time what with Midgar being the biggest city on the continent it would be easy to hide in. Zack had forgotten that it was also the place that serves as the headquarters for ShinRa.

The only thing he'd bin thinking about was making Cloud well and Zack had thought of only one person that might be able to do that.
Aerith.
She could make flowers grow in Midgar. Some thing no one else even attempted to do any more. She could do more, much more then that with her powers, Zack had seen it. And Zack knew she would help, or at lest try to.

And even if she couldn't bring Cloud out of his comatose state she could heal the arm that had bin broken when Cloud had fallen of the cliff.
Which had bin entirely Zack's fault and he knew it, but he was still going to blame ShinRa if asked.

'I don't. But monsters don’t care that there monsters.'
'Why do you think I care?'
'You wouldn't be talking to me if you didn't'
'Cloud'

He wouldn't make it to her house but he might make it to the church she used as a green house.
If it weren't for the hundred some odd pounds of dead weight on his back.
It wasn't the first time he had thought that, but Zack would never make any thing of it. At lest Cloud hadn't grow any in the last five years. Floating in a tube of mako didn't leave one much room to exercise. Thankfully it also preserved ones mussels, or Zack would be fucked.
Well, more so then he was already.

When Aerith saw him she thought she was looking at a ghost, it wouldn't be the first time. But no, ghost don't lie face down on the grown with a smaller ghost next to them. Not that she had ever seen the other before, but ghost tends to hang around other ghost.
But if Zack wasn't a ghost then the other wasn't a ghost, then the blood getting on her flowers was very real.
She and Zack were going to have a long talk latter. First about crushing her flowers and second about disappearing for so long.
But first she had to stop the bleeding.

'Forgive me.'
