The Big Final Fantasy Crossover

First chapter was short, looking back on it. I feel guilty about that so here is Chapter two :)









Chapter Two: Kweh?



Evenings in Black Mage Village were great. Mages and Genomes alike would sit around a magical fire sharing stories and discoveries of this new world together. It was perfect, and Vivi truly felt like he belonged. Being the eldest of the black mages and also the most powerful, Vivi was appointed leader of the Village and it's protector. But with Kuja dead, only the occasional weak monster was all he had to deal with.



Kweh!



"Sorry, Bobby Corwen wants feeding." Two of the black mages got up from the circle and walked over to the chocobo shack holding hands. They were the first among the Black mages and Genomes to get married at Conde Petie, the dwarven preist or "the Holy yin" as they called him was more than happy to perform the ceremony, he had been worrying about the number of couples as of late and was thrilled to find two black mages who had fallen in love.



Vivi looked up at the stars and thought of Zidane. It has been almost three months since he last saw him, but a week ago her received a mognet letter telling him that Zidane was on his way to see him, and that he has something important to tell him. He had lost sleep over what Zidane might say. If he had a heart it would be pounding at the thought of Zidane finally confessing his unrequited love to Vivi. Ever since they shared that momment in Madian Sari Vivi knew he loved Zidane. But he never harbored any ill towards Dagger. They were truly in love and Vivi knew he would never stand in the way of that.



Abbruptly Mages and Genomes alike had stopped talking. Their had been a rustling in the forest. Grabbing the Octagon Rod Vivi stood infront of where the noise came from and focused his magical energies. Then from the bushies a sandy-haired genome with thief daggers emerged.

"Zidane!" Vivi ran upto Zidane and jumped into his arms who laughed and hugged Vivi tight.

"Hows it hanging little guy?" Zidane lightly tapped Vivis hat up out his face and Vivi reflexively pulled it down again.

"It's great Zidane, we have made alot of changes to this Village. The Genomes and our more gifted mages have actually found a way to increase our life span to that of a normal human using magic and science!"



"Woa! Thats amazing" Zidane said, sounding truly impressed.

"I know, c'mon and we will find somewhere more privet" Vivi took Zidanes hand and they walked to the most privet part of the Village, the Cemetery.



"Hey Vivi, are you okay? Your shaking?" Worry was evident in his tone.



"No I'm fine, I'm just happy is all to see you again." Vivi couldn't belive the time had finally come, Zidane was going to kiss him and tell him he loved him too. 'No...Vivi. Don't get excited over nothing yet. He might not even be hear to say that.' Vivi thought inwardly and hoped it wasn't true.



" So what did you have to say?" Said Vivi, trying not to sound overly eager.



"Well, c'mon sit down." Vivi and Zidane sat down on the stone steps and looked at one-another.



"Dagger and Ekio have been...Kidnapped." Zidane looked away as he said it, he obviously felt like he was to blame.



At first Vivi felt a sharp pain in his chest, like his heart was breaking. Then Zidanes words sank in and he only felt a panic. "What?! When? How? Who? Where!!!?" Zidane was sure Vivi was going to Trance if he dident calm down.



"I'm not sure who did it Vivi, calm down. We will find them, even if we have to tear Gaia apart we will find them."



Vivi was breathing heavily. "Tell me what happened...from the start."



So Zidane told Vivi of his late night walk and the mysterious man in black robes with powerful magic and strange glowing eyes.

"Worried about you all i sent out letters to everyone, and the only one that didn't reply was Ekio, instead I got a reply from a very distressed Hilda saying Ekio had been kidnapped."



"Oh my God. Why did he take them? To extract their Eldions?" Vivi was standing up now, his eyes were like fire. A new side of Vivi he had never seen before.



"I don't know Vivi...I think he is after the Jewels."



"The Jewels? Then we are okay for now! You have one!" Vivi's relif was short lived however when Zidane frowned.



"Dont you...?" Vivi looked down at Zidanes chest, but the Falcon Claw was nowhere to be seen.



"He must have taken it by magic, I remember putting it on, he must have used magic to take it off me." Zidane tried to remember all the facts but his memory was blurred from the blow to the head when he hit the floor.



"How is Steiner taking this?" Vivi already knew the answer to that.



"He blames me of course, Beatrix is calming him down and told me not to blame myself. But it is my fault. I should never have left her." Zidane held his face in his hands and sobbed.



Vivi wrapped his short arms around Zidane and tried to comfort him.

"It isn't your fault. How could you have known? She is a powerful summoner, she can take care of herself. This guy would have you both if it wasn't for you and it would be weeks before any of us noticed something was up."



"*Sniffle* Thank you Vivi. Anyway, this is why I came here. This is the most magical village in all of Gaia, I need your help, and the other mages and Genomes too. We are gonna find Dagger and Eiko."

Me: I think this will be a long story, just with short chapters. Perfect for cliff hangers don't ya think?



LPH: I hate cliff hangers



Me: I wasn't talking to you.



LPH: Then why did you create me?!





Me: I dont know, im starting to regret it.
