Summary: Zack’s a Senior in High School and its time for him to begin thinking about his future. When School takes his Senior Class on a week’s trip to Riverview College his whole idea about what he wants changes when he see’s a mysterious silver haired student. He knows he has to have him, but how? When the guy doesn’t notice anybody younger than him?
Chapter Two: Dangerous Air
The week was almost over and Zack hadnt seen the silver haired male again. He was almost beginning to think he‘d just imagined him. But he couldn’t have right? Seriously, that would just be strange in every sense of the word. Tifa and Cloud had perked up since Zack had told them he didn’t think college was such a bad idea afterall, of course he hadnt told them the reason behind his sudden change of heart.
The Cafeteria was larger than the High School one, given they had to accommodate for far more people it made a lot of sense. Zack peered around the Café, hoping for a glimpse of the silver haired mystery man, but no such luck, and with Cloud and Tifa constantly throwing out narratives Zack could hardly look around. Especially if he wanted to avoid any unnecessary questions. Zack instead settled for stabbing viciously at his plate of food. Three days they’d been here, three whole stinking days and he hadnt spotted the silver haired male once! His mood was not great, he wanted to see him partly because he needed to know it wasn’t his mind playing unfair tricks on him.
“Wow.” Came Tifa’s startled voice, “He’s hot.”
Zack looked up at her to see her eyes staring off somewhere behind him. Curious he turned his head, and that moment green eyes lifted up from the table and stared directly into his dark ones. Silver hair falling all around his shoulders. Tifa was staring open mouthed at him, clearly admiring his good looks and Cloud was looking at him with slight curiosity. Zack however, was staring as intently as the silver haired man was at him. Zack mouth formed a tight line, trying to keep his features from cracking, the silver haired man showed no emotion as he held Zack’s gaze. There was no curiosity in his eyes, no smile on his features. He looked… well actually he looked bored.
Someone sat down beside the silver haired man and green eyes broke contact with Zack’s as he turned his head to look at whoever sat beside him. Zack too, glanced and noticed it was the raven haired man he’d seen with him the other day. Zack noticed this male had blue eyes and straight hair. It wasn’t as long as the silver haired man’s but it was just as glossy. His eyebrows arched elegantly above his eyes as he looked at Zack with mild curiosity.
Then they were both gone.
The raven haired man spoke quietly to the silver haired man and both got up from their table and left through the back door. Zack, Cloud and Tifa watched them both leave. Both of them walked with an air of power, and yet Zack couldn’t miss the grace that was in each of their steps. Nor could he miss how the crowd suddenly parted when they got close.
Almost as if they were afraid.
“I guess those two are the definition of cool here, then.” Cloud stated, which Tifa agreed with. Zack nodded. “You know, I kinda thought that staring competition we just had was a little odd though.”
Why Cloud thought it was odd, Zack never found out. He was far too busy thinking off the silver haired male and wondering what his name was. Afterall, Zack couldn’t keep referring to him in his mind as the Greek God of Hotness now could he? Tifa rose, not with quite as much elegance as the two men, but with her own elegance. Every straight guys head went from her face to her chest. Zack and Cloud being her best friends, often told her that her cleavage was the first thing any guy would notice. That, and her arse.
Tifa was of course beautiful, in every sense of the word. She had a beautiful hourglass shaped body with a nice rounded arse and boobs you could really get a grip on. Her legs were long, most people said they’d have love to have them wrapped around them, but both Zack and Cloud knew Tifa was waiting for the guy she would love. Her long dark hair in contrast to her pale skin made her look like a dark beauty. Deadly beauty, Cloud often said, since you didn’t mess with her and get off lightly.
Tifa walked through the back door, the same door that just five moments ago, the Greek God and his apprentice had just left through. Cloud and Zack shared a glance and jumped up. “What’s she upto?” Zack spoke, Cloud simply shook his head as both rushed towards the door. Pushing out of it, they glanced around.
But the courtyard was empty.
There was no sign of Tifa, the Greek God or his Apprentice.
Zack, quickly taking out his phone dialled Tifa’s number, only to get her answering machine. Cursing, he slammed his phone shut and looked worriedly at Cloud. Tifa was obviously curious about the two men, and Zack knew, as did Cloud, that she would do anything to find out who they were.
Beep Beep Beep
It was Tifa.
What do you want? I’m in the girls bathroom. Go through the red double doors, I’ll meet you outside. X
“Bathroom.” Zack exhaled and closed his phone, dragging Cloud along with him as he half ran the length of the courtyard. Once through the double doors, they leant against the wall, neither one speaking. Although both thinking exactly the same thing.
Who were those two guys? And why did they display such a dangerous air?
Sephiroth and Angeal both stood outside the Cafeteria, neither one of them speaking. Sephiroth stood with his arms folded tightly over his chest and Angeal looked distinctly ruffled and worried. It was obvious where those three newcomers had come from, they’d come from the school for one of the college’s week long tryouts. Neither one could deny that the three who had held their gaze steadily were good looking, but hardly anyone kept their eyes, hardly anyone dared.
By now, everyone in this College knew the reputation of Sephiroth and Angeal. Sephiroth, merciless and cold. Angeal, always standing by watching, guarding his own secrets and seeming just as detached as Sephiroth. Of course, Sephiroth was also known as a Psychopath. He kept his cool in most situations but the odd time he did lose his temper, or get too carried away someone got seriously injured.
Sephiroth the Psychopath.
Angeal… Well, the Psychopath’s Insane Friend.
Neither Sephiroth nor Angeal considered themselves Psychotic or Insane. But they were physically stronger than pretty much everyone, and even when they tried to hold their strength back they were lucky if they didn’t kill someone. Both men assumed an air of danger. They were dangerous, they wouldn’t deny that and secretly Sephiroth never wished himself on anybody. Angeal, although feared by association, was quite gentle, loyal and rather loving. Of course, nobody knew this side of him as nobody was brave enough to get to know him.
Yet…
They were considered the height of cool. Pretty much all the guys wanted to be them and the girls (and guys) wanted to be with them. Sephiroth knew, that the black haired new comer was no different. He could see it in his eyes. In the blonde’s too, as well as the dark haired girl, that they wouldn’t mind having a piece of him.
They wouldn’t survive. He thought dangerously to himself as he watched the dark haired male and the blonde one running into the red double doors. Unaware that Sephiroth and Angeal were watching them. They seemed so… breakable. No, Sephiroth wouldn’t go there. Besides, they were far too young. They were still in high school.
“Seph.” Came Angeal’s voice. “Come on. We’d better go. Lab in ten, Hojo will have a fit if we’re late again.”
With that, the Silver Haired male turned his back and strode through a set of blue doors and down a darkened corridor. His mind no longer on the trio of newcomers. It amazed even him, that they’d been here three days and not been warned to stay far away from them.
“That’ll have to change.” Sephiroth spoke into the darkness, ignoring Angeal’s quizzical glace as he pushed open the door and took his usual seat in Lab 4.
