Twisted Around

Cloud smiled, jumping at the sudden touch.

"Hey, Vincent."

The gunman smiled lightly, arms still around the blond.

"How am I supposed to cook with you distracting me?" Cloud scolded, smile still in place. "Don't forget, Chaos'll want to eat, too."

"True."

Cloud scowled at the bowl on the counter.

"Alright, this doesn't look right."

Vincent chuckled and reached forward. He swiftly took a box from Cloud's hand and poured the contents in.

"There. Now mix."

Cloud did as Vincent said then turned his head.

"How did you know that? I was trying to make you something new." Cloud pouted.

Vincent chuckled once more. "Secret, Cloud."

Chaos's voice flowed from between Vincent's lips. "He was going to make that for you."

Cloud smiled. "A secret, huh?"

Vincent huffed. "Not anymore, I suppose."

Chaos smirked. /Nope./

Vincent replied. /You want to come out for a bit?/

/Yes./

Cloud felt Vincent leave, the arms around him disappearing for a moment before returning.

"Hey, Chaos."

Chaos leaned in, resting his head against the man's shoulder.

"That looks good."

Cloud laughed. "I hope so. You'll be eating it."

"Mmmmm...."

Chaos gently began nibbling at Cloud's ear. Cloud made a contented noise and arched into the touch. Chaos's arms tightened around the blond as Cloud released his hold on his bowl.

"Chaos..." Cloud murmured. "What are you...?"

"Cloud... when you promised me that you would never leave me alone yesterday... you were truly honest?"

"Of course, Chaos."

Cloud resisted turning around to look at the demon. Barely.

"Cloud..." Chaos hesitated.

The boy asked softly. "Yes, Chaos?"

"I...I love you."
