Part Four
Act VII: Moonlit Dock
"You are such an idiot!" Noy snapped, slapping Zazi rather hard across sho shoulder. Those two had been known to be pretty violent since childhood. Noy was the more mature of the two, Zazi was a bit of a hot-head, as seen before.
"Hey! It's not like I started the whole thing!?" Zazi's face was turning red with anger. His teammates always brought up his most recent bar room fights to get him back for all of his neverending, snide remarks.
"Zazi, can we please just stop with this idle banter? It's been well over an hour, and you haven't gained anything yet. Give it up." Nav commented, using his famous finishing move: The Glare.
"No! I'm not finished! This is bullshit, four against one?"
"It would have fine had you not opened your mouth in the first place." Auda piped up, trying to copy his captain's glare as much as he could.
"Shut up! Who asked you?" Zazi barked. If he had been a cat, the hair along his spine would have been standing straight up. Zazi hardly got along with Auda, it could have been because Auda was a little quiet sometimes, much like Pah. Zazi hated silence.
"Don't tell me to shut up! You arrogant prick!" Auda retorted.
"Mind your own business, Auda!" Noy snapped, backing his brother up.
"Everyone just stop! This is pathetic, listen to yourselves! You all sound like five year-olds! And, Zazi, you have no room to be pinning this mess on anyone else! Quit denying the fact that you've started every fight in that bar, because of your big, fat mouth!" Pah finally shouted. He had been silent since the jogging began. He shouted so loud, that it stopped some passer-by, and slowed the group to the speed of sloth. They were all awestruck by Pah's sudden outburst, he never got angry at anything. He was a very passive Guado.
After that, nothing more was said, the group had finally been silenced. They returned to their regular speed, after all the staring. A few moments passed adn the silence was interrupted by a soft tenor voice from behind.
"Hey, guys!" It was Giera, he finally caught up with them. He picked a pace between Auda and Pah, who were very happy to see him. Pah's mood seemed to brighten almost instantly when Giera showed up. Zazi noticed the sudden change, and something in his stomach twisted into a jealoud knot. He glared at Giera, instead of greeting him like the rest.
"Are you feeling okay now?" Pah asked, true-blue concern written all over his face.
"Yeah, I'm feeling much better." He smiled.
"You gonna be alright for the game, then?" Nav asked, jogging backward.
"Of course." Giera replied, giving a thumbs-up to his captaHe hHe hid the pain he was feeling very well. Even if he had admitted to not feeling well, he still would have participated in the game. He would never, in a million years, allow the Guado Glories to take up a loner agent. Giera was a part of a proud race, and that was that.
The Glories continued on with their laps. The whole group was pretty quiet, save for the random panting. It seemed that they could sense the dismal feeling that Zazi was putting off; the feeling of jealousy.

Dusk had finally began to paint the sky with hues of pale blue, pink and orange. The sunset was a beautiful scene in Luca, the rays of the sun sparkled across the water, illuminating the city with its last farewell to the day. The Guado blitzers had turned in for the evening; all returning to their designated rooms.
Giera woke up in the middle of theht, ht, he was covered in sweat. He figured that he had had another nightmare. He couldn't remember the details of it, but he was sure it was bad. He figured a walk through Luca would help ease the tension. He quietly got out of bed and slipped into his splay robe. He made sure that he was in stealth mode, so he wouldn't wake Pah, who was curled up and sleeping soundly in his bed.
Giera caught himself staring at him... he couldn't stop a gentle smile that appeared on his face. Pursing his thin lips, he backed away; afraid he might wake hp, tp, that maybe his stare was too piercing. He slipped on his shoes and headed to the door. As he reached for the handle, he heard a small murmur... he froze for a moment, waiting to hear his name, and the simple question, 'Where are you going?'. But there was no sound after that. Making haste, he squeezed out the door and out into the hallway.

The cool, night breeze washed over Giera's face, it felt good. He inhaled the crisp ocean air, then sighed with relief; the uneasy stain of his vague nightmare seemed to vanish with every breath. He slipped his hands into his sleeves and slowly walked toward the stadium. As he walked, he began to think about what had happened between himself and Zazi. He questioned himself; he questioned his actions, his feelings. Where were they going to take him?
He had already passed the stadium, and decided that dock number five looked comfortable. He quietly strolled over and stood on the end of the dock. Taking a deep breath gaz gazed over the vast expanse of the ocean. A smile crept over his soft lips, as he began to think of Pah... his best friend. He couldn't stop a blush from working its way over his face. He had often wondered why he and Pah never dated, or fell in love. He didn't really need to wonder anymore, he knew why. Sometime, people have to discover things for themselves. Giera already knew that Pah would have fallen for him, had he only asked. Instead, Giera chose a wilder path, and that was Zazi.
Up until recently, Giera had loved Zazi, he had loved everything about him. But, enough, was enough. Giera could feel his fists clenching without his consent, in an involuntary act of anger. He then relaxed, and decided that thinking about Zazi wasn't going to help anything, so he sat down on a nearby crate and stared off into the abyss.
His blue eyes gazed over the rippling water, his long lashes falling over his high cheekbones as he sighed. He could see his breath on the air from the coldness of the night. It wasn't that cold, but he found his body beginning to show light chills. Suddenly, he heard a creak on the dock behind him. He stood and turned to see what it was.
His fell upon a sweet, pale face. Pah was standing at the head of the dock, smiling faintly.
"Pah, what are you doing up so late?" Giera finally asked.
"I could ask the same of you." Pah replied, waking over beside Giera. He continued, "So, what were you looking at?" He slipped his hands into the sleeves of his splay robe.
"I was just watching the water..." Giera replied, looking back at the water.
"The water is pretty..."Pah commented, moving his eyes from the ocean over to Giera. He stared at him, and noted how beautiful he looked. How the moonlight cascaded down along his small body, covered in a robe that looked too big to be his. He smiled thoughtfully. The two stood on the dock beneath the soft light of the moon. There was a strange feeling on the air, it was thick and it led led between them. Giera cleared his throat to try and ease the odd silence. His skin began to prickle with anticipation, he felt Pah's gaze on him, like a hungry hawk.
"Giera?" Pah started, "Are you okay?" He asked. Giera didn't answer, he continued to stare off into the distance. Pah stepped a little closer, as he did so, he caught the scent of the other, which was sweet smelling, like lavender mixed with vanilla. It made Pah's eyes grow heavy. He reached his left hand out and gently placed it on Giera's shoulder. Giera shook his head a little, as of to snap himself out of his daze. Giera blinked a few times, he felt strange, like deja-vu was coming into play before him.
Pah smiled lightly and brought his right hand up to rest on Giera's other shoulder.
"You look scared..." Pah pointed out, "I am too..." He whispered, implying something. Before Giera could make a peep, Pah leaned in and pressed his lips against the other's. Giera melted into the sudden kiss, shutting his eyes. The long awaited moment was abruptly stopped, as Giera backed away, shaking his head.
"I can't do this... n-not now." He stuttered... he looked Pah straight the eyes, he could see the want in them, and the dream being shattered...
"Oh, Pah!" Giera exclaimed, throwing his arms around the other's neck. He completely littered Pah's lips with quick, tender kisses; savoring each and every one of them. The lighter haired one broke the kisses, he had his arms wrapped around Giera's waist, holding him tight. Pah smiled and touched Giera's cheek, "Come back to the room with me..." he whispered. Giera nodded and the left the dock together, hand in hand.
