Return of the advent child

Chapter 3: Meeting the recruits

When I woke up Reno was still there, deeply asleep in my arms. I didn't want to move and wake him up so I stared at him. Red eyelashes resting on his cheeks. Someone knocked on the door, I got out of the bed, rapidly jumped in my pants and went to open the door. Rufus was standing behind it. I looked at my watch, it was 6:00 am. I was late. "Hard nigth Strife?" I stretched out. "Kind of. I'm getting dressed and I'm coming." He nodded. "Do you know where's Reno?" Ah... THE question. What do I answer? "Heuh...." He stared at something behind me, I turned around to find Reno standing half dressed. "So I guess I know now. Reno get dressed. Well dressed. I'll be waiting for you guys downstairs." And he leaves.

I turn to look at Reno. "Is there something wrong about this?" He started to button his shirt. "Rufus lets me do everything I want if it doesn't get in the way in my work." I take his hands in mine and kiss him. "Are you coming back tonigth?" He smiled. "If you want me to I will." I get my top on, my sword sheath on my back not forgetting to put the actual sword in it. My favorite Turk was putting his blazer on, a last kiss and we got in the elevator that lead us to the meeting room.

Rufus was sitting in a chair, Elena sitting beside him and an other young man I didn't know. "You're both here, we can start then. Elena I think you know Cloud." Of course she knows me. "Kind of." She smiled. "And this young man is your second, Aubrey Zano." He stood up, offering me his hand. I shook it. "Nice to meet you, I'm Cloud." He's smaller than me with short brown hair, his eyes were mako infused. "Nice to meet you sir." Sir? I'm not 50 years old. "Don't call me sir, I'm not that old." Everyone starts to laugh. What did I say? What's so damn funny? "What did I say?" Rufus regained his composure. "You're the youngest of us." And? "You don't need to tell us you're not that old, and besides get used to it you're going get that name often." Reno smiled when I looked at him. Damn how can he be so sexy. "Cloud you have twenty minutes to eat before meeting the training staff. Aubrey will show you where is everything."

I didn't have the time to say anything Aubrey dragged me out of the room. "So you're the famous Cloud Strife." Famous? Well I guess so. "I guess so." I look at him, he looks so... small. He looked like a kid with a giant sword on his back. "How old are you?" If Rufus said I was the youngest he must be older than me. "I'll turn 29 in October." Damn he sure was older than me. "And you?" And me? Maybe I shouldn't be telling, I don't want to feel like a school kid. "I just turned 25." He leads me in the SOLDIER's mess. "So you're an ex-SOLDIER?" Well I'm not going to tell him I didn't make it to SOLDIER. "Yep, it was a long time ago." Can't he just stop talking? "Why did you leave?" I'm not going to make it easy for him. "Because Sephiroth got crazy and killed my friends." He was going to add something, I can just feel it, I got a decent breakfast and we both sat down at some random table. "Sorry." Please don't be sorry. I rubbed my eyes and started to eat as fast as I could to get to the training ground before the SOLDIERs. I finished in five minutes. I learned as a cadet that if you want to eat a full meal you've got to hurry up.

"Where's the training room?" And please don't follow me around, Rufus had rebuild the whole place exactly as I remember it, I just want to explore a little before doing anything. "Just down the hall."

The recruits were all arrived and Aubrey was standing beside me. Will he ever leave me alone? I don't remember Zack always tailing Sephiroth this way, he just did his things and they meet once everyday. "Well kids, I'm the new General. My name his Cloud Strife." Whispers, I hate when people whisper after hearing my name. "Before anyone asks anything, yes I was a SOLDIER and yes I've defeated Sephiroth twince." Whispers stopped. Good thing. "Now since it's a beautiful day outside get your boots on. I'll be waiting for you in five minutes on the drill square." And I left the room.

Ten minutes later all the recruits were teamed up and were training with wooden swords I was watching them, bored as hell. Well at least Aubrey was gone, I've send him do some paperwork. What? I got to get some advantages from being the big boss no? I don't think any of the rookies would make it SOLDIER. They just suck.

I got back to my quarters at eleven. The thing I saw was the red light on my answering machine telling me I had messages. "Hey babe call me when you get back." I smiled and dialed Reno's cell number. "Reno, yo." Still that damn habit. "Get your nice ass up here." He laughed. "Coming rigth up." He hung up and I started to undress my self. I was so tired and I had to get up at 4 am. I got a beer from the fridge and drank it straigth down. I was thinking about drinking another one when Reno knocked on the door. I openned up and dragged him in, crushing my lips on his, feeling his surprise slowly disappeared, he returned the kiss, figthing with my tongue for a couple of minutes. I've removed his blazer and started to undo all the buttons of his shirt. He finished to undress me, even if there was not much clothing left on my body. I pushed him on the bed and took his pants off in the same mouvement. Hum much better. My lips trailed down on his flat stomach, finnaly getting to his manhood. He trusted his hips beneath me, after exactly 6 minutes he whispered that he was going to come if I didn't stop. I let him go and got back to his eye level. "I love you." He said it! He said the three forbidden words. The worst is that I hear myself answer him. "I love you too." He wrapped his arms around my neck and pulled me down into a needing kiss. He reached out for the bottle of lube and covered my erection before pushing me in. I moved slowly at first and he groaned when my first trust hit his prostate. "Faster..." The magic word. I picked up the pace and he bit his lip, unable to stop the moans that left his throat each time I hit his sensitive spot. "I'm coming..." As he said it I felt his warm essence filling the small space between us. One more move and I was washed by my own orgasm. I stayed on him for a moment, listening to his breath slowing down. "I love you babe."He really meant it. Well I think I love him too. Let's give it a try. "Me too." He leaned his head on my shoulder and we fell asleep.
