Chapter 3
The Sephiroth clone laughed as he turned his back to the ninja. “Look at the poor fool, killing his friends, people who he treated like family. Does he really think he is ‘saving’ them from me?” His laughter grew increasingly stronger. He turned back to his victim, just in time to see her throw a flash bomb at his feet.
That madman… he healed me just enough to keep me living, I need to run… I need to hide…I need to survive…run… run… run faster… you need to run faster Yuffie… he’ll find you… The flash bomb will only last for a few seconds longer… Use the materia to heal yourself better…
Yuffie struggled to bring the materia to her wounds, healing herself completely. She scrambled along the broken pathway Cid took, almost tripping and falling several times. She looked up in horror as she saw the longhaired maniac blocking her path. “Now, now, young princess… If you try to run, I’ll just have to break every bone in your body, and I don’t want to do that to a beautiful young woman like you.” He rushed to her, picking her up and throwing her over his shoulder in one swoop.
“Just wait till those two fools get here, then you three can stay alive throughout their immense pain and suffering, just begging for one to kill the other.” She started to sob into his back. “Don’t cry, or else you will pass out when the time comes. I don’t want that to happen, do you? Of course you do,” he said, not waiting for her to answer. “You will want to.” He laughed at her pitiful cries and screams as he took her down the depths of Crater.
“Oh, this is great, that Shinra fool thinks he can talk him into coming down and saving you, the pitiful, idiotic fool.” Yuffie continued to cry as he slammed her down and chained her into place. “Oh, this is getting good, they’re yelling at each other…”
“Shame, now that pilot is bringing Vincent’s gun up to his head…”
“Well, all that is left is that Shinra employee…”
“What’s his name again…?”
“Reeve is it? It doesn’t matter anymore. He’ll be a dead man before he can reach you. He is going to die because of you Yuffie. You are not strong enough to save anyone.” He smiled as tears poured down her face. “I think the first place I should obliterate is Wutai, since Cloud destroyed my materia…” He smiled as he leaned down to the shaking little ninja. “Just think of your family screaming in pain and suffering. It will be music to my ears.” He laughed manically at his thought leering at the ninja.
