Chapter 4
Quistis woke up and for the first time in a long time, felt refreshed and actually quite happy. She let the fragments of the dream wash over her and smiled. That would have been such a typical way of Seifer to snap her out of something. Just when she expected him to be sweet when she was upset, he hit her with something that made her angry enough to get through. Of course, when she had truly been in pain, he had been there with the soft words and hugs and tender kisses.
She closed her eyes and sighed as she remembered the last part of the dream...if only he COULD come back. Best to stop this line of thought or her good mood would totally vanish...and she didn't want it to.
She went for a shower and ten minutes later she stepped out of her room with a collection of bottles to be dumped in the recycling bin outside. After that she would treat herself to a leisurely breakfast and then finish tidying her room. At least it was Saturday - this was gonna take some time!
She had just finished tidying her room and had stumbled across even more bottles. It was shocking being confronted by all the bottles. She hadn't realised the extent of her problem until today. She sighed. No more! Enough was enough!
She lifted the last of the bottles and walked out to the bottle bin. She walked along deep in thought when someone walking towards her caught her eye and she looked up. The bottles dropped unheeded to the ground. "Seifer?????"
