Chapter 4: The first battle

It's been two months since Reno and I started to see each other. He slept in my bed every nigth, his Turks stopped asking him where he was going each nigth a while ago, thinking he was going to sleep at his mother's house to be with Zoey. Zoey at came four time to see us, insisting to be with me, so I just obey. When she was on ShinRa's territory I'd bring her everywhere I went. The members of the staff that were on service when I was trooper regonize her, and they know the whole story.

Zoey was sleeping in the little bed Reno and I bought for her visits. When she was with us he would sleep on the couch, not to mess up her mind. Everybody was sleeping peacefully when my phone rang. I woke up and picked it up before it woke up Zoey or Reno who had one of his horribles migraines. "Hello" I whispered. "Cloud it's Rufus." I sighed I looked at the alarm clock, it was 2:30 am, that meant I've only been sleeping an hour or so. "Why are you calling in the middle of the nigth?" It couldn't wait only the morning? "You've got to back up the Turks rigth now, they're in big trouble." I rubbed my nose. "Ok, I'm waking up Reno and I'm coming." I sat up in my bed. "He has to come too." Allrigth then what are we doing with Zoey, she's only 6 she can't stay here alone. "But Zoey..." he cut me. "Bring her to my appartements, I'll take care of her." Well it's not like we had a choice. "Ok give me five minutes to dress up." He hung up.

I dressed up and nuzzled in my Turk's neck. His eyes openned slowly. "What's up?" I knew he wasn't going to like what I was about to say. "We have to backup your team." He sat up, rubbing his eyes. "But Zoey?" at least she wasn't going to stay here on her own. "Rufus' going to take care of her and if he doesn't I'm going to kick his ass so hard he won't ever be able to sit down." He smiled and dressed up. "How's you're headache?" I kissed him, deeply, lustly, I had trouble breaking it. "Bad." I stood up and searched my drawer for his medication. Reno often had migraine and he had a special injection med to take when he had to work when he was in pain. I filled the syringe with the clear liquid and shoot him in the fleshy part of his hip. He didn't move even if I know that damn thing was burning like hell. His eyes passed from feverish to normal. "That thing is the best invention in the whole world." I smiled, placed my sword in his sheath and picked up Zoey from her bed. Reno openned the door and whe headed for Rufus' quarters. He was waiting for us, door openned, smilling at the little bundle in my arms. She waked up sligthly when I gently dropped her on Rufus' bed. "Where are you going?" Reno came behind me and caressed her red spiky hair. "We have to go on mission honey but M. ShinRa will take of you." She repositionned her little body. "Ok." That girl his an angel. "Love you baby, we're coming back as soon as we can." We kissed her forehead one atfer the other. We walked out the door and I grabbed ShinRa by the collar. "If something happens to her I'm going to kick your ass so bad you'll have to lay on stomach for the rest your fucking life." I know I shouldn't be talking to my boss like that but I couldn't help it. "All rigth." Reno looked a last time at his daugther and we got in the car.

I was dialing Aubrey's number while Reno was doing the same with Rude's. Rude didn't pick up but I knew Aubrey always had headphones on for his telephone. "Zano." Even if it's been two months I was working with him I didn't like more than at the beggining, he was just always on my tail and got on my nerves. "Hey are you with the Turks?" I heard Elena yell something at Rude. "Yep." A fireshot. "Where are you?" Elena yelled again. "FUCK AUBREY JUST SHOOT HIM!" He didn't knew where they were, I was pretty sure. "Just get the chip on, we're coming." I hung up seeing a red dot flashing on my screen, I turned on the tracking program and another dot started to flash indicating our position. I pushed the accelerator to the floor. Reno slid his hand on my thigh. "If anything happends tell me you'll care of my Zoey." For the love of god Reno could you think about something else? You're going to screw everything up if you keep thinking that way. "I promise you I will, but nothing will happend to you, I garantee." Like Zack had garanted me before dying, and I am still here.

We got to the place where our groups were figthing in eleven minutes. Reno kissed me quickly and we got out the car. His EMR was on his shoulder and I had my sword in hand. Elena smiled at her boss. "Backups!" Rude was figthing with a brawy black man, Elena was handling a much taller man and Aubrey was looking like he was going ti faint. How did that dummy get where he his is a total mystery to me. "Aubrey shit, you're trained to react. REACT!" He looked at me and ran to go help Elena. I swung my sword on a chick that was coming towards me, ripping her stomach open, she fell on the ground holding her wound, blood pourring out of her. One down. I ran to help Rude out, he wasn't moving one his arms. I closed a bracelet containning healing materia on his wrist and he nodded before returning to the figth. Reno was sitting on a guy, crushing the electric rod on his lap. I could feel the burned skin. Two down. "Reno turn around!" yelled Elena. He turned around, grabbed the fist that was about to crush his nose, turned the arm in his owner's back, we heard the bone break and the guy passed out. Three down. I smashed what seemed to be the boss down, almost cutting off his arm. Four down. "Get out of my face or I'll finish you." He made a sign to his minions and everyone followed him far from us.

The Turks turned around and Elena wrapped her arms around me, Reno coughed and I gently pushed her. She looked at Reno. "Go on Reno, show him your affection, we don't give a shit about it. We were at Cloud and Zack's wedding remember?" The redhead smiled and took me in his arms. "Good job. I love you" he whispered in my ear. Rude smiled and Aubrey was about to pass out. Again. "You're gay?" Well that's a way of putting it but I wouldn't say that this way. "I guess you can say that but if you say anything, anything rude, mean or even just a fucking joke remark I'll throw you out of my unit after kicking your ass. Understand?" I unvonluntary took the same tone Sephiroth used to scare the shit out of his men, and It worked. He choked as he tried to swallow. "Yes sir." I grinned evily. "That's better."

Elena got in her car with Rude and Aubrey, I got in mine with Reno. "You freaked the guy out." Good thing done. "Yeah I know." I smiled. "He's pissing me off since I arrived here. I wonder how he got as high as he his." Reno got closer to me. "Maybe he slept with Rufus." A shiver ran on my spine. I don't know why but Rufus turns me down. Reno's lips slowly slid on my neck, a moan escaped my lips, it's been a week since the last time we had sex. His left hand reached out at my already swollen member. An other groan left my throat. "I love it when you groan." He said rigth in my ear. "Stop teasing me I can't drive." His foot hit the break and the car stopped. Thankfuly in a desert parking lot. "What's wrong with you freakin psycho?" He leaped on my lap, lips crushing mine in a passionate kiss. "Baby please..." He's begging me and I can't resist. I undo his pants, don't bother about the blazer or the shirt, I make him lay down while undoing my own pants. A little saliva and I'm in him. A couple of hard trusts and we both came at the same time. I love this kind of quickie.
