Chapter 4

Zack found himself shaking his head as he set the bomb. This was far to easy. A Reactor should have more in the ways of security then some guards and big metal doors. Shoddy work like that is what allowed the former Avalanche group to get so far.
One would think that ShinRa would work a little harder to prevent such now that they no longer had a platinum blond super Soldier to bale their ass' out.
Oh well. Good for him, bad for them.
At lest until Zack was out of Avalanche employ.

"I'm going to take Cloud out shopping latter."
Zack's head shot up to give Aerith a 'are you crazy?' look.
Aerith gave him a look of her own back.
"He's started to move on his own, with out us to help him. He's waking up, and I don't think he's going to be to happy to see that we've bin dressing him in in pink."
Looking at Cloud, Zack had to agree. The white pant's were okay, it was the pink t-shirt with a sleeping yellow chocobo on it that would have his little friend wanting to cut his head off when he woke. Not that they had much to choose from with Aerith's wardrobe.
Zack was just glad his own clothing hadn't bin beyond fixing.
"Go tomorrow. It's going to get a little crazy tonight and I don't wont you two getting in trouble."
Aerith nodded and gave Zack a peck on the cheek, which Zack returned with a full kiss on the lips, before he left for the Seventh Haven.

Five years ago Zack had begun to under stand why Sephiroth had gone nuts.
At lest a little.
Now though, looking at president Shinra, Zack felt that if he could go back in time he would have helped Seph.
Not with the burning of the town, but with plotting the destruction of Shinra inc.
"Hojo will be disappointed when I tell him that you died. He had bin hoping to get his specimen. But if you’re here then specimen C must also be in the city."
He laughed as he walked on to the helicopter, ignoring Barret's yelling.
"I hope that you will enjoy the new soldier of Shinra."
As the helicopter left a robot came crashing down between the group.
"This thing is a SOLDIER!?!?" Barret yelled, his gun arm unloading in to the mechanical monster.
"No, it's just a machanical thing of death!" honestly, Zack thought, what kind of idiot would think that this hunk of junk was a SOLDIER?
