Awakening
Kadaj stood face to face with two men who,to his bewilderment,knew he remembered. "Who are you?!" Kadaj questioned. "Brother don't you remember,your own Brothers?" Loz and Yazoo tried to explain. "Nooooo!" Kadaj exclaimed as he engaged the two in battle.
Souba drawn he came forward and slashed Yazoo,*pow,Yazoo was sent through a church window. "I won't have you hurting Brother!" Loz yelled at Kadaj.
Loz swung the buster at Kadaj's head,it missed. Kadaj than jump kicked Loz,hit the ground,and followed up with a butterfly kick.*Slash Kadaj brought his Golden Souba across Loz's chest,drawing first blood.It was followed by a frontflip into a kick.Loz had been put on the floor.
Yazoo had recovered,albeit with shards of glass cutting his face.He took notice of the giant statue of Aeris that stood all to majestically in the church. "Loz! He's been brainwashed,by HER!" Yazoo said malicously as he pointed towards the giant statue.
Kadaj still staring down at Loz,was shot in the back by Yazoo. Loz took advantage of Kadaj's momentary stunning and speared Kadaj into the floor.
"Hold him!"Yazoo yelled to Loz. Loz used his strength and held Kadaj's arms behind his back. Yazoo pulled out the black canister filled with green liquid that he retrieved earlier.
"Mother.."Yazoo said to himself,as he splashed the jade stream into Kadaj's face. Loz released Kadaj from the hold.Kadaj fell to the floor spasiming...
A bloodied Reno fumbled with his cell phone to call President Shinra. "..Reno reporting" "What's the status" Rufus said monotonously. Rude grabbed the cell phone from Reno."Mission complete..FAILURE" Rude explained. "You dissapoint me" Rufus replied coldly as he hung up.
A black hooded man stood in front of Rufus."They're a liability" Rufus muttered as he slid a briefcase across the table. "1,000,000 gil,take them out" Rufus added emotionlessly. The hooded man took the briefcase and left the room without as much as a single word.
Kadaj's jade eyes opened staring at the face of his two brothers. "How do feel brother" Yazoo said to his awakened brother. "Better!" Kadaj said in immediate reply,as he quickly hopped up. He was met by the warmest embrace the two almost apathetic sybling could produce for him. He shrugged of thier warmth with cold but true words "No time for celebration,we have work.." "Already taken care of" Yazoo interjected showing Kadaj,the bonded Cloud.
The three remnants produced the most evil smiles as they looked down at their blonde haired captive. "Today will be fun" Kadaj mused as Cloud just came into conciousness,awakening into an even worse nightmare...
Cloud's arms were tied to the church wall. He was exhausted and tortured. "It's time for your purging..." Kadaj mused sadistically to Cloud. "Brother,she's given you so many chances,just for you to to spit in her face,not anymore!" Kadaj said as all the emotion came to a natural flow to him. He was a vessel that was overloaded by teen angst and dare I say insanity. Severe mental instability,yes it seems Cloud was at the mercy of a very dangerous young man.
Kadaj pierced Clouds hand with the souba,sending blood trickiling down his wrists. Yazoo took his other arm sticking the gun blade through it. After hours of pain they finally found Cloud's pain threshold,and relentlessly cut him,kicked him,and punched him.
"O big brother,just accept Jenova as the true mother and savior and i'll let you live,whad'ya say?"
Kadaj offered. "Never!" Cloud vehemently responded. "Fine then" Kadaj hissed as he teased Cloud's naked throat with his souba,it would have to wait.
*Crash,Kadaj was planted into the floor by a descending Tifa. "Stop" Tifa exclaimed. Kadaj in recovery took her feet out from under her,sending her face first into the ground.
Loz and Yazoo looked at each other and then her,Tifa looked at them and looked scarce. She had a decision to make between fight or flight,and rather than fighting a losing battle she ran. "I'm sorry Cloud" she exclaimed as she hightailed it,Loz and Yazoo following close behind her the three left the church leaving the dangerous alone with the wounded.
"Looks like I have you all to myself" Kadaj laughed to Cloud's dismay. "No more games...Cloud,today you will recieve a...Baptism by FIRE!" Kadaj exclaimed as he cast Firaga and the bed of flowers below the suspended Cloud's feet. He than focused and cast Flare on the scaffolding that kept him suspended. *pow The second floor came tumbling down,and Cloud fell straight into the fire,and buried under debris.
Kadaj took one last look at the flaming pile that used to be a peaceful sanctuary. "Burn big Brother,you had your chance but now you pay the price!" Kadaj solemnly left the inferno behind him...
End of Chapter 4
