Tri-Blessing

You retire to your inn room, weary from the day's fights as well as the news that you only possess a third of the Blessing of Light. 

Not only that, but you will have to work together with this Au Ra Scholar, who hasn't smiled or relented once since you first met - in fact, she tried to kill you!

Still, you consider that the fate of the universe is more important than a personal preference in travel companions, so you assure yourself that everything will be okay, and you drift off to sleep.

You awake to the sharp sound of a creak in the floor, and immediately draw your knives and leap out of bed. It's Kitsu.

"What are you doing?!" you whisper-shout.

"Shhhh..." Kitsu places a long, pale finger to your lips. She gently grabs your arms and pulls your knives down to your side. 

She places her hand on your chest, right where your heart is. Your mind is racing, yet blank at the same time. 

"We share a connection, the two of us. One that is ancient and sacred and unbreakable. It was inevitable that this should happen sooner or later."

Kitsu's lips meet your own, forcefully at first, but you give in. You feel it too. This sense of connectedness. Like even though you had just met and were moments away from murdering each other, you could trust her with your life as if it were her own.

You return her kiss passionately. Your knives fall to the floor, and she pushes you onto the bed. Her tongue slips inside of your mouth and swirls around your own. It feels almost sharp, and the idea that you are about to make love with an Au Ra only excites you more.

"Let's see what you harem-cultists are made out of." Kitsu says, as she kisses deep into your neck. 

Her hair brushes up against your face and smells clean, but with a slight dusty scent that you can only describe as smelling like a library. The scent is intoxicating to you, and you inhale deeply to take all of her in.

While everyone jokes about Miqo'tes being a part of a harem culture, you had never even considered being with another female sexually before. But something about this experience just felt right.

The sound of buttons hitting the hardwood floor of the inn room seems to echo as Kitsu rips your shirt open, exposing your bra. 

She leans down, ever slowly, approaching your neck once again. She bites down, hard. Really hard. 

"THAT HURTS!" You scream, as you are blinded by the daylight pouring in through your inn room window. You find your goobue minion perched on the table beside you, gnawing on your neck.

"UGH!" You shout, ripping open the jaws of the gobbue and tossing him aside.

You spread out on the bed in a part stretch, part flail of frustration. What was that dream, and what does it mean? 

it felt so real, and it felt so right...but you don't truly trust Kitsu, despite what your dream brain tells you. Could you really have these strong feelings for someone who just tried to kill you? If this truly is part of sharing this blessing, does Kitsu then feel the same way?

These questions race through your mind so fast that all you want to do is go back to sleep and pretend that nothing happened, but you can't get the feeling of the Scholar's lips on your own out of your mind. Or the way that her piercing eyes met with your own. Or the way her hair smelled. Or the devilish grin she gave when she said, 'It was bound to happen sooner or later.'

Is it bound to happen sooner or later? You think to yourself.

You have a long day ahead of you as you journey to the Akh Afah Amphitheatre to face your next primal, Shiva. Fittingly, Shiva herself had a forbidden love she was destined to become one with, but it also meant that she would be consumed if the love were to last for eternity.

That's all I have so far. Let me know what you think. This is my first submission here, so I only wrote enough to give you a taste of my writing style and what the story will be like.

I do have ideas for where the story is going to go, but I gave you just enough to get a feel for it. If you don't like the writing style, the story, the direction its going, or just aren't interested or whatever, just let me know. I'd rather know that you aren't interested in reading it and save time than I would to keep writing chapters that you aren't reading or being interested/turned on by. ;)
