Episode Five: Family Friend
((A/N: In response to one of my reviews, yes, I know that Vincent’s arm is mechanical, but... I have heard the ‘hand’ thing being called both a gauntlet and a mechanical arm interchangeably. That is just the way that I have written for a while. But, I will TRY to keep it as mechanical arm, but no promises... because when I write it just flows. (Either way, it is not in this story, he has both flesh arms and fingers and everything.)
And to another reviewer, one of those Anon flamers, thank you for the laugh. I am going to leave that up just so my other reviewers can read it and laugh. And no, I am not going to suck your dick, I have had better offers by nicer people, so NO!
I have noticed that as my writings get better that I tend to write with less and less cursing, and if that bothers you, let me know, because I don’t think that it added to the story at all. I will add a few extras here and there, but no promises. :-) Keep up the reviews, it has fueled me to write more than I EVER did on the FanFiction.net site.

It had been a week since the dinner date, and the first day of class. (Or, as Sephiroth put it, what a bang!)
Lucrecia’s friend Danielle was due to come in the next day, coming all the way from Midgar to come and visit for a fortnight. ((A/N: I am trying to be a little more intellectual with my wording, and that word means two weeks. Just thought I’d tell ya incase you didn’t know))
Beth had set up an extra bed in her room, where Danielle was suppose to sleep for the time she was visiting.
Sephiroth was sulking in his room, because his father had confiscated his sword because Sephiroth, lied to his parents and took the weapon into church.
Lucrecia was cleaning the entire house from top to bottom, Eugene wasn’t doing much, staying in the downstairs laboratory, or reading in the library.

The doorbell rang about a quarter to eight in the evening. Beth ran to open it, as did Sephiroth. And then Sephiroth kicked Beth down the staircase, the long twisting one, that lead downstairs to the basement. Beth screamed the entire way down.

Lucrecia sighed and walked over as Sephiroth opened the door.
“Hello Danielle,” Lucrecia said smiling, “Sephiroth, get her bags.”
Sephiroth sighed, and Beth walked up the long staircase. “Hello Danielle...”
Danielle smiled, she was only a little older than the twins, and she was five foot five inches tall. She had long brunette hair that she had tied back in a bun. Her skin was creamy and smooth. She wore a small black low cut top and low cut pants. Her boots were impressive.
“Hello Lucrecia how are you!” She hugged Lucrecia as Sephiroth drug in two different huge bags.
“I’ll show you your room Danielle,” Beth said after she was hugged, “Follow me.”
Danielle followed Beth upstairs, and past Sephiroth’s room, “Ooooh, Blood red, I like this room.”
Sephiroth jumped up the stairs five at a time and stood in the doorway, “No. This is my room.”
Lucrecia yelled at her son, “SEPHIROTH! She’s our GUEST! Don’t tell her no.”
Danielle smirked at Sephiroth, “Thank you Lucrecia, I am sure that Sephiroth wouldn’t mind if I were to use his room while I’m here...”
Sephiroth grumbled and dropped one of the bags on his foot.
Beth smiled, “Let me make up the bed and tidy the room.” She walked towards the linen closet.
“She’s kidding right? I just got my room stinking just right.” Sephiroth said, turning around. “HEY! NO!!!”
Danielle had a small aerosol can that was spraying around the room. “Better...”
Sephiroth took in a deep breath and hacked, “It smells like a fairy fucked a butterfly in a flower garden.”
Beth walked by Sephiroth and sighed, “Shut up.” She ripped the blankets and sheets off the bed and threw them at him.
“WHERE AM I GOING TO SLEEP????” Sephiroth yelled, carrying the sheets out of his room.
“You are going to share a room with your sister...” Lucrecia said.
“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaa

“So, tell me about this man you have me set up with to go on a date tonight...” Danielle said, lighting her trademark cigar.
“He’s freshly divorced and hurting. He’s just signed the papers.” Lucrecia said.
“Danielle, he’s an aspiring astronaut and has a nice body for someone his age.” Beth added.
“He’s an old smoking fart that only wants a chick for the pussy.” Sephiroth said, scowling.
“Sephiroth!” Lucrecia said, “He’s a real nice guy... he’s just had some bad luck, that’s all.”
Beth nodded, “He’s only about thirty, and he has a good job. But he is hansome.”
Sephiroth scowled again, “What are you doing looking at Cid? YOU have the hots for Vincent.”
Beth stuck her tongue out of her mouth at her brother, “What me and Mr. Valentine do is none of your damned business, keep your nose out of my life.”
Lucrecia smiled, “I’ve seen him at the gym, he’s tanned and ripped... he’s going to pick you up at six, take you to see the movie HEARTLESS and then to dinner.”
Danielle nodded, “I see... what about this Vincent character?”
Sephiroth pipped up again, “It’s Beth’s piece of ass...”
Beth turned her gaze to Sephiroth, “And you haven’t fucked his ex-wife?”
Sephiroth smirked, then frowned, “THAT’S NONE OF YOUR DAMNED BUSINESS!”
Beth nodded, “Yep. Thought so.”
Danielle, Lucrecia and Beth chatted for a while before Danielle stood up, “I am going to get a shower before I go on my date.”
Beth stood up, “Okay, I’ll get one too...”
Danielle looked at Beth, “What?”
Sephiroth laughed, “Beth is going with the same date with Vincent, sort of a double date.”
Beth nodded then shook her head, “Only if you want it to be, otherwise, I am sure we could go our separate ways.”
Danielle nodded and ran upstairs.

The doorbell rang at five til six, and both men were there waiting. Vincent was dressed in a nice dress shirt and just-a-little-too-tight black jeans with black boots. His hair shown and was nice and combed.
Cid wore his captain hat, with his cigarettes in the band. Other than that, Cid was dressed nicely, and wore a nice shirt and tie with black slacks, and... grubby tennis shoes.
Lucrecia asked them in, “The women are upstairs getting ready.”

Upstairs, Beth and Danielle were in Beth’s room, getting ready. Beth was putting on her fire red lipstick. Danielle was powdering her cheeks.
“I am so nervous.” Beth said grabbing her perfume bottle.
“So am I, at least you’ve seen the guy... this is a blind date.” Danielle said.
“I’ve done more than SEEN Vincent.” Beth said, smiling.
“What? Have you guys fu...”
“No, no, just kissed.”
“So, tell me, Beth... is Cid...good looking?”
“Yeah, he’s nice... I like him as a friend.” Beth spritzed a bit of her perfume on her neck.
“I see... I hope I feel that he’s nice.” Danielle sprayed a bit of perfume as well.

Cid and Vincent were sitting down on the couch and waiting.
“May I interest you guys in something to drink?” Lucrecia said.
“No, no, that’s fine, I’m flying the Highwind tonight.” Cid said.
Vincent also refused.
All eyes turned as the door as it opened, Cid waiting to see his date for the night. Vincent waiting to see the woman he had a ‘crush’ on.
